  1. keep thinking that swimming is the fastest way to have six packs )
  2. - A dehumidifier's primary function is to eliminate excessive moisture from the air and bring down a room's humidity levels. While this device does not clear or filter air, it does help remove allergens, like mold and dust mites, which thrive in a moist or humid environment. With a humidity level less than 50%, these sources of allergies and asthma wither and die. However, maintaining dehumidifiers requires cleaning all its coils and buckets periodically, and also checking these coils for frost, to improve efficiency. If they have plates, they should be washed once a week. - An air purifier circulates air through a filter which removes air borne pollutants, like dust or smoke particles, and even pollen, which a dehumidifier cannot. An purifier may prevent mold build-up as it removes the spores from the air. Air purifiers can be maintained by replacing the filter every 6 months. However, because it cannot control humidity levels in a house, excessive moisture can cause mold to return. So it means while dehumidifier requires regular clean-up, air purifier does not control the in-house humidity even though it prevents mold build-up. Now to the electric bill (in long term). A basic small dehumidifier using 250W per hour and if we run it 12 hours/day, it will cost around 20 bucks per month. Meanwhile, the air purifier, I take example from Clair BF2025 which can remove up to 0.1 microns dust and particles that I'm using now, is taking only 4W per hour, so even I leave it on for 24/7, it costs only around $1 monthly. Very economically. Plus it's not expensive (I find $160 is very reasonable). You can find more information on its website here: www.go-clair.com

  4. I read an article by Astrup, and he mentions that it only takes a 0.1-unit drop in pH to double the firing rate of appetite and wakefulness-related neurons. One human study found that pH levels fell by 0.05 units with exposure to 7,000 ppm of CO2. and while CO2 levels in the air have risen alongside obesity rates, we will eat more if our surroundings are not that clean.
  5. why there's someone like you and someone like me who's literally eat chocolate only and never lose weight
  6. There has been a hypothesis.Breathing in extra carbon dioxide makes our blood more acidic and lowered pH in the brain makes appetite-related neurons fire more frequently. In other words, it means steadily rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere may be affecting brain chemistry, increasing appetite and contributing to the obesity epidemic. So I think they are correlated somehow. Anyway, just get an air purifier and then you're done. I have two Clair BF2025 in my room and never have to wonder.
  7. *mentally high-five*. Vonnegut and Kundera and Orwell are my favourite <3
  8. I was in Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo for summer vacation and it was super duper great. People are warm and friendly, though everything is hell expensive (I stayed in Bnb and bought food to cook). Bergen has Norway in a nutshell daytrip that I think you should try out. It was very impressive and beautiful. The most awesome act I have done is hiking at Preikestolen near Stavanger. you can search for photos everywhere and the scenario is much better than those pictures. and I stayed in a small wooden cabin nearby forest in Oslo, also from bnb, just everyday has fried salmon and enjoyed writing journals there. I've never tried hitch hiking, but I guess it's a bit difficult, though.
  9. except headache and dizzy, fever or cough will never hold me down. and I think keep exercising makes you get better sooner.
  10. I had a friend who is a bartender and in a good shape. I saw him drinking a lot sometimes as well. so I think it won't affect that much.
