  1. Hi! First challenge here, let's see: Fitness: I'm currently in the preselection of the Austrian Kendo National team for the upcoming World Kendo Championships next year in May, the preparation training is just starting. Goals concerning this, and therefore fitness: 1) No kendo training, no gain: Don't miss a training at my home dojo, don't miss a squad preparation training(which is only one in the time of the challenge, but still) and to do awesome on the two tournaments which I'll be attending in November(one on the 6th, one on the 26th and 27th) 2) While concerning technique I'm not bad, I'm not in the best shape I could be physically, which does tend to hinder one in doing his best technically, so in addition to the normal kendo training I want to do 1-2 strength training sessions(body weight circuits) a week and 1 sprint/HIIT session in addition to normal kendo training to get in the best shape I can for the championships 3) Diet-wise I want to go primal for 5 days a week, slightly adapted with higher carbs for the usually quite intense Kendo trainings in the evening. Life goals: I'm currently studying for my masters degree in physics, but have to change my plan, since the professor where I wanted to do my thesis has enough students already and can't be my advisor, which now leads me to having to break myself in in a completely different field than my interests until now have been. So I want to get cracking and learn everything I can concerning theoretical solid state/condensed matter physics, to which end I'll devote at least 4 hours a day(averaged over the week).
