Bad news: I've fallen off the wagon and been eating unbalanced lately. Nor have I been consistent in my workouts. I only really enjoy the dumbbells and push ups. Not sure what I can do for my legs instead. Maybe long walks? Good news: Since attending Nerd Fitness, I've gone from loop one on my belt to loop five, the very last loop in my belt. It can't go any lower! But I weighed myself today and I've gone from 277 to 285.6? I know what Steve says about scales, but is this beyond the normal weight shifting? Could use some advice and encouragement.

So, you're saying I could start out on my own reading books and practicing if my budget isn't big enough yet for a full on class?

Well in that case, how can I tell if I've found a good enough Krav Maga program to join? How do I weed out the crap from the quality? And on a budget?

I started the Basic Beginner Circuit and I've gotten to the point where I despise it. I need to find a workout I enjoy. I'm wanting to take up Krav Maga but want to get myself in shape for it first. Anyone have a good workout plan I could try out? Currently this is what I do: 3 sets of each 20 Body Squats 20 Walking Lunges 20 Pushups 20x 25 lb Dumbell rear delt rows (20 each arm) 20 sec planks 24 Jumping Jacks. Thanks

Anyone know why my stomach was bothering me after eating Paleo Spaghetti? My theory is that maybe it was too base and I didn't dilute the tomato paste enough.

Two weeks ago, I was getting back on the train. Then it all fell apart when my Grandpa died. I traveled to West Virginia and didn't really bother to track my diet. I've gained a little weight back, but thankfully haven't erased all the gains I've made. Throwing a Phoenix Down and recommitting to my Paleo plan that worked well: 4 days on combined with intermittent fasting (I only eat around dinner time), 3 days off (with counting calories. Staying under 2,100). Once I get back to that, I'll look into 5 days on, 2 days off. I'm almost to the point where I'll be able to complete the entire Beginner Circuit. I'll look into doing the advanced circuit but I really wanna get the cash together to Purchase NF Academy so I can focus on heading towards the path of the Monk. Thanks guys, any help would be appreciated.

Looking for fellow NF'ers out there in DFW.

Made a lot of progress before Christmas. I purposely planned things where I'd go on "holiday" to enjoy the holidays with my folks and go off diet and exercise. Good news is that I didn't lose MUCH ground, and as of tomorrow I'm throwing a phoenix down and respawning. Focusing on finishing my goals for the year (lose an additional 80 pounds, get my body fit enough to begin learning Krav Maga).

I went down another belt notch! I was at one notch, now I'm down to 4! Took a photo today and I'm smaller than last time I took a photo! I'm down to 273.8 pounds from 296! And I'm almost built up to the point where I can do the full Beginner Workout Circuit! I just need to get my jumping jacks up to 30 than I can move on to the Advanced Circuit! Thanks NerdFitness!!!

Since following NerdFitness in late October, I dropped 17.8 pounds as of the last week of November from 296 and 1 belt notch. Now, I'm down another belt notch! (Not scheduled to weigh myself again until next Monday). THANKS NERDFITNESS!!!

Thanks to NerdFitness, I was able to lost 17.8 pounds after a month of making slow and consistent changes over a period of time. Because I love Thanksgiving and Celebration, I focused on staying committed and building up points so I can enjoy myself with family during the holiday season. To that end, I decided to take 3 days off the Paleo diet: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It was actually kind of difficult to give myself permission to do so, and to eat what I wanted since I had already adjusted somewhat. But turning the switch off was easier than turning it back on as originally I had planned to go back Sunday. Then put it off till Monday, but after nearly vomiting from an experimental Paleo food I made (Turkey, olive oil, veggies, and chili initiated instant vomiting reflexes for whatever reason. Smelled great though) I'm officially respawning today and changing my method of attack.

I'm new to the Rebellion. I decided to join up because I weigh 296 and I do NOT want to go over the dreaded 300 line. I would like to lose around 100 pounds (I'm breaking it down to smaller goals though, so that way I don't get overwhelmed and give up) before, or reach that goal a little after I move to Japan next year. After reviewing the material, I think I would like to do a Monk/Ranger hybrid. The monk part because I'm very interested in martial arts and speed, but I absolutely love stamina and endurance (I've noticed that he/she with the most stamina and endurance [read: take the most punishment] wins). Is this possible? What's the best way to go about it?
