  1. Love this! That's great- 5 days a week is trackable- either you do it or you don't Sounds like you've had some success so far! And body confidence + feeling attractive are freaking awesome reasons- I take way more risks and have way more fun when I'm feeling confident and attractive!
  2. Awesome! I live by City Park, super close!
  3. Nice! I'll try to get there... I teach until 6:15 and it's a little far, but I will hopefully get there by 7 or so!! Will let you know if that changes
  4. Awesome! I kind of just throw things into a blender... my friend has a bunch of great green smoothie recipes at www.thebettyrocker.com Usually some fruit, some protein powder, some greens....whatever is around in my house!
  5. Day 4 & 5 Report Morning Routine: 5/5 Technically yesterday it was in the afternoon... but I'm counting it for the time being. Fuel Like a Boss: Been craving sushi like crazy, so I've been eating a bunch of it. Awesome. Two more days then I start the detox! The only time I know I'm going to deviate is on my birthday- I'm totally allowed a glass of wine. Says me. Train and Move and Play: 1/5 Still 1/5-- Definitely needed a couple of days off post-medical stuff. Hiking a 14er tomorrow and doing 2 workouts on Sunday, so that will put me at 4/5 for the week, which is what I'm allowing myself (6 next week). Gain Coaching Clients: 1/3 Got one yesterday- you guys are right, I'll count it
  6. Thank you!!! 1. Thanks!! 2. RIGHT?! 3. I currently do creative play and possibility coaching- working with artists and entrepreneurs to get strong and healthy mind/body/spirit so they can play and dive into abundance and possibility in their work and life. I've done quite a few physical trainings (spin, kettlebells, barre, gymnastics) and yoga training, as well as a nutrition cert and infinite possibilities coaching training. They are always fun if only to gain more knowledge of yourself! 4. Definitely NOT! 2 years ago I wouldn't even do a handstand. I just learned to do a proper cartwheel in the past 6 months Keep having fun! If I can do the things, trust me, anyone can do the things. So true Chanda. Thank you for that. Counting it!!! 1/3 Love you guys!
  7. Hell yeah guys! I just spent all my money to go to Costa Rica, but I'll sign up before the price goes up. This is going to be awesome!! Good thing I happen to be in Boston then... playing hooky on my conference that day will be well worth it
  8. Yeay I found your challenge! You're totally going to rock this. Sending love to your IT bands (woo-woo druid in the house)! And I want to join Team NF for any and all ridiculous challenges. just sayin'. Are you guys still Spartan-ing in November?
  9. Yeay balance and serenity! All of your goals look very well thought out and doable. Can't wait to see your progress!
  10. Yeay all As!!! You're doing awesome- love the mindset shifts
  11. Hey Turtle!! Love this goal!!! I absolutely adore my Vibrams. They fixed my gait and feel so much more free. That being said, ease in. I definitely have one of those stories where the first time I wore them I ran five miles, and could barely walk the next day because my calves, ankles, and feet hurt so badly! You can totally still train the way you normally are- what do you think about doing both barefoot and traditional running practice? You can gradually do more barefoot running, and less traditional. Just a thought!
  12. Welcome to the Druids! Love your challenge goals Love 750Words... what a fabulous site. When you say backbend, do you mean a full drop-back from standing?
  13. Oh dangit- didn't get the most recent post about being sick :/ Mid-afternoon study break jog sounds awesome. Whenever you don't have time to exercise, that's the best time to exercise!
  14. You got it!! Great to see you again here Enjoy camping!!!! Looking forward to your progress!
  15. There are a lot of great things happening here!! Mainly.... booty shorts. haha Glad to have you in the Druids this round!!
  16. Awesome challenge! Love the idea of 'body clutter' - what a cool way to go about it! And yeay bellydancing- always do what makes you happy!!!!
  17. This is awesome!!! So detailed and well thought out. Warrior Dash is so fun- excited for you!!!!
  18. Yeay!!!!!!!!!!!! Your whole challenge just made me go 'woo-hoo!' Looking forward to hearing about all your adventures
  19. Hey! Fantastic goals!!! Love nature-- obviously For veggies in your smoothies, definitely start with baby spinach- it's pretty much tasteless as far as smoothies go so it can be a good intro to greens in there! Happy challenging!
  20. Day 1,2,3 Report! Morning Routine: 3/3! Seriously amazing how great it feels to move and meditate immediately upon waking up. Today I went to gymnastics first, because 6am is early to be at the gym, but I came home and got on my mat and mmmmm. We'll see how much I start to fight it- I'm usually great the first week or two, and then can slide. So far so good though! Fuel Like a Boss: Okay! This technically hasn't really started yet- unless you count eating all the chocolate in my house as 'getting rid of bad foods'. Maybe? Train and Move and Play: 1/5 Gymnastics this morning-- started the challenge a couple days late on this part.... I had a minor surgical procedure today, no big deal, but I'm not sure how I'm going to feel tomorrow so I might be doing a LOT of workouts this weekend, or I am giving myself permission to do 6 next week and calling it good. Gain Coaching Clients: ---- Technically I took on a client today, but she isn't a paid one yet, so I'm not counting it! This will for sure happen. That's all!
  21. You can be there too! Life IS grand- even yours. Especially yours, just because it's yours. OMG that would have been the SADDEST. I just decided to go to CR last week. But I'll still be in Boston in November- woo hoo!
  22. Love this. Less stress, less mess, more space to play!! Looking forward to all of it!
  23. Simplifying is awesome!! Great work- and, I have the same questions as Eilyd
  24. Awesome welcome to the Druids, Naturally! How are you going to track your workouts? Are you going for a certain number per week? Curious... what do you want to do for your career?
  25. Awesome glad to have you back in the forest!! Great goals- specific, measurable, not too extreme. If a lot of cravings persist, have you ever had your basal metabolic rate tested? It's the base amount of calories you burn just by existing each day-- doing that test and talking with whoever is doing it can help out with figuring out calorie numbers- though honestly, not that concerned with the numbers, more about the quality of calories! Sounds like you have a great plan in place.
