  1. Thanks everyone for all of the encouragement, feedback, and help with the site. I think I'm gonna like it here.
  2. I didn't think about rewards! #1 has a built in reward though, as I'm allowing myself a "splurge" day once a week IF I stick with tracking the other 6 days. Perhaps I'll make that my reward for doing all 3 goals during the week - a "splurge" day because I stuck to all 3 my goals. Yeah, I like the sound of that. As for my BIG goal/reward: I really want to get Lasik, but I'll need time to research doctors and prepare my finances. If When I lose 75 lbs I'll have had enough time to do both, so THAT will be my big reward (besides the obvious of losing all the weight.) New body AND new eyes! Woo-hoo!
  3. This is my first post and my first challenge! Yes, I'm a newbie and get excited over little things. :-P My MainGoal is to lose 75 lbs. I know this will take a while, so I'm approaching the whole thing like TheTortoise rather than TheHare. My 3 goals for the 6WeekChallenge are: 1.) Track everything I eat and drink for 6 days of the week. The 7th day is a freebie. 2.) Out of the 168 hours in the week, devote 1.5 to walking or working out. That's three 30-minute workouts/walks. I can do that! 3.) Find at least 1 thing per day to be proud of (refer to goals 1 & 2) so I can learn to ~~love myself~~ no matter what my weight it or my clothing size. (In other words, channel my inner Stuart Smalley, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me.") Feedback would be most welcomed, especially by anyone who has already done a challenge or two, or a hundred.
