  1. Week One Resuts: 1) Master the NutriBullet: Sucess! 4/4 Complete 2) Hit The Gym 3x A Week: Meh. 2/3 Complete 3) Run. Fail. 0/3 complete. Partially It was the Flu. I think I'm right at the end of it. I still cough every once in a while, and i'm a bit sneezy, but I have one day left on my Flu meds, then HOPEFULLY I will be ready to begin the running. BUT THEN, Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and Food is my weakness. UGH. I may have to overtime at the gym to compensate. haha. Weighed myself this morning, and I'm at 238. Again, the flu restricted me to soup and gatorade, so that helped. haha. Little steps. Hopefully I can keep it off! Have a Wonderful Week my lovely Readers!
  2. Day 5 Update: A few days ago, my dad started coughing. Then I started coughing. Then my mother. Suddenly we are all sick. I finally went to the doctor and BEHOLD: I have the Flu. Ugh. I have been quarantined to my room for the next couple days until I am no longer contagious. My brother basically bolted out the door when he found out - He's a voice Major, and can't get sick. haha. Unfortunately This means no gym for a few days. This week I made it to the gym twice, and I wont be able to go again this week unless I find a miracle cure by Sunday. Perhaps it is time to try that Beginners body weight thing I've seen around here, although I feel like my lungs are full of yuck right now. I still haven't started the C25K yet, mostly because I am pretty sure my lungs are not at full capacity, so I really don't want to risk trying to run. STILL TRYING. NOT GONNA QUIT. Thanks for the continued support, and kitty gifs! But on the upside of things, when they weighed me at the doctors this morning, I was 6 lbs down from Monday. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.
  3. Day Two Update: Day one ended up being awful, I worked towards none of my goals. At least I stuck to water for my whole D&D session, which is a small step. haha. This morning i woke up to find that we have no veggies and fruit in this house. Hard to Bullet a breakfast with to sustenance! I went to class, and after I got out at 9:30, hit the produce section. I looked online for recipes, and i saw some suggestions to freeze the spinach in ice cubes, so I battled with the blender to create the nasty looking spinach cubes. At least they are shaped like batman symbols. haha. After that I went to the gym for the first time in months. I stuck to the elliptical and picked up a class schedule. There's this combat class that lines up with my classes, so that could be a thing. I haven't started the C25K yet, but I will! Thanks everyone who stopped by, beeteedubs. Y'all are awesome.   4. Intro: Hello wonderful nerdy people of the rebellion! This is my first challenge, and I am slightly terrified because I have never really joined a forum like this before, must less made a commitment to this kind of challenge before. ** I came across you guys recently, and instead of sitting in my hobbit hole I thought I would just run after you guys, no time for my handkerchief. I am a bit late to the challenge, but better late than never right? I love food. I really really do. It is so easy to just sit and eat, and recently i realized I passed 250 on the scale, just weeks before my 24th birthday. This needs to not be happening. I am still living at home, and I am a full time student, recently starting my bachelors in Business Management, after trying to be a history major for the past 5 years. I started my life change educationally this semester, but i really need to jump start my health changes. Main Quest: Get back into Onederland. This will not be my final goal, but it is a big enough start, that once I get there I can re-evaluate my goals. Quest 1) Master the Nutribullet! Well, 4 times a week for breakfast. Usually I eat a grilled cheese, a fried egg sandwich or skip breakfast altogether, so switching to a fruit smoothie/juice/potion would be a good improvement. Quest 2) Hit the Gym 3x a week. I've been paying for this contracted gym membership for a year and a half now, and I haven't even been in 5 months or so. That is both a health no-no and a waste of my pennies. Quest 3) Run for 10 minutes straight without dying. Right now I can run for about 10 seconds before I want to curl up and sleep forever. I have been looking at the C25K program for a while now, and now is as good a time as ever to start it. Looking at the program, at 5 weeks I should be able to run 10 minutes. Life Quest) Get a job. I usually work in the summers, but this summer I splurged with my money and went to Universal Studios instead of saving, and the holidays are staring me down already. Motivation) I want to shop at the mall. I want to be able to walk into a store and not have to walk straight to the plus sized area. I want to be able to try on dresses at a regular store, and not have to reach for the biggest size they have. That would be great. ** I would so totally love to do the stat increase and things for my character, but I will do that later once I have some more time to figure it out. Its not priority anyway.
