  1. Journal Update: Week One Objective A: Probably the hardest out of them all of them, but I have sucsesfully managed to stick to the workout plan for this week. Surprsingly, the hardest part of it was the Endurance training, and one the first day could barely achieve the twenty minutes. However, by day 3 it became a little easier. Objective B: Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I could not achieve my 2400 daily calorie count. I have improved however, and made an entire week without skipping meals. I reached an average of 1400 calories a day. Objective C: Probably the least fun. It was worst the first day, but by day four I got used to it. As expected, I craved coffee a lot less.
  2. I've lived life long enough in my quaint village - It's time to head towards the big city and attempt to achieve the title of ADVENTURER! Perhaps I'll be recruited into the ranks of the Assassins, or perhaps the Rangers, but never the less I intend to increase my physical strength and endurance through climbing, long-distance runs, and a whole ton of pushups and pullups. Main Quest Be unbound by the limits of my terrain- climbing in both urban and rural areas should be a breeze, but I should also be able to cover distance without falling into a wheezing, out-of-breath mess. I should be able to run a solid 5km before tiring. Finally, I want to be able to do 3 sets of 15 one-handed pushups, one-handed pullups, and situps in one setting. Six Week Challenge Achieve a kilometer run before tiring, and then do 25 pushups and pullups consecutively, before running back. Objective A Assassins & Rangers both need their strength, so in order to be Workout every other day, following this pattern: Day 1: Endurance Training: 20 minutes on the treadmill at a solid jog.Day 2: Strength Training: Upper body strength workoutDay 3: Endurance Training: 20 minutes on a rowing machine at hardest difficultyDay 4: Strength Training: Lower body strength workout Objective B Rangers need their calories! How else would they survive their long treks through the woods, with minimal breaks? Therefore, I need to achieve daily a calorie count of 2400. No more skipping meals! Larger lunches! Frequent snacks! A simple daily diet plan would be: Breakfest: Something quick - I don't have a lot of time in my mornings. Things like fruit salads and smoothies would be perfect.Morning Snack: More fruit. I'll pack an apple or orange in my lunch or something.Lunch: Sandwhiches. Meat, lettuce, cheese, bread. Nothing less then four ingredients.Afternoon Snack: Nuts, Berries, crackers, pretzels? Something quick to chomp on while running to class.Dinner: Pasta. Steak. Potatos. Greens. High Protein, High Vegetable. Objective C Rangers need to be able to operate in all sorts of temperatures, so in order to help prepare myself for this, I will begin to take cold showers. Every morning. It'll be a great way to wake up in the morning, and will help me abandon my precious coffee. Life Quest I've got two instruments, a ukelele and a Harmonica, and I should learn to play both of them. I'll spend at least an hour a day practicing both of them, every day.
