  1. I am so incredible new to this whole thing as I have just found this community this week. I couldn't be more excited and ready to start my journey with you all. I'm embarrassingly overwhelmed with all the information because I have honestly NEVER in my 29 years of life, been part of a forum . Threads, topics, and posts...oh my HAHA. Any and all feedback you wonderful folks might have would be much appreciated. I am going to take some time this weekend to put my thoughts in order before I post any quest stuffs. All I know is I am sick of being sore or tired all the time I am so excited to join in on the challenges!! Cheers darlings!!
  2. I have recently been reading and getting myself ready to start lifting and I have a pretty good work out put together focusing on the right muscle groups on certain days. BUT...my road block right now is that I am not sure where to start as far as weight goes. I don't want it to be too light that I accomplish nothing but I don't want it to be too much that I injury myself. What is a good middle ground for a gal that is 29 yrs old, 5'6" and roughly 128-130lbs that has never done any lifting. My main goal is to get my body fat percentage from the 25-30% range down to 18-20% and strengthen everything in the healthiest way possible. Thanks for any advice you all have to share!!
  3. I am completely new to this community. Just stumbled across this website of amazingness YESTERDAY while researching information on "how to paleo" after a friend suggested giving it a try in an attempt to cut out all the crap in my diet. I have always been athletic in the sense that I run a few times a month and I was a dog walker (yes, I walked dogs for a living) in Oregon for the last year which had me moving and hiking for anywhere between 4 and 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. I LOVED IT!!!! I recently relocated to Louisiana to be closer to my boyfriend after doing the long distance thing for almost a year. Going from Oregon, the land of the fresh and organic to Louisiana where EVERYTHING IS FRIED has not been easy. I don't know anyone here other than my boyfriend and we spend 90% of our time on the couch playing the xBone until all hours of the night, eating every carb known to man. While I have not necessarily gained any weight, I do however feel GROSS!! My body hurts and I am always tired for no reason. Time to get off the couch and do something about it. I would really love to get into weight training but do not know the first thing about being in a gym. Any advice, workout/lifting basics, support or internet high fives you care to share with me would be super duper!! Can't wait to start my transformation with you all!! Cheers to you all!!!!
