  1. Wow great work last week! It has been rainy and muggy here, I think it is bringing me down! Good luck this week! Keep it up, I know you will rock this 6 weeks!
  2. Week 2- Hurt shoulder and neck early this week, getting back into workouts today! Been great with not watching TV but this was sacrificed by my diet. Respawn and regroup tonight!
  3. Just started about 14 days ago, but I've done both morning and evening. I found that today at lunch at work was a bad time for me, I was just too distracted.
  4. Best of luck! Those are some excellent goals for these 6 weeks. I really like your life goal, I am trying to get better with purchases and money as well.
  5. Great to hear you are trying another 6 week challenge! Remember you learn something from what you think of as "failures." I think it will help having others motivate you, but remember the best motivation comes from inside! Best of luck, I will be rooting for you these 6 weeks :-)

  7. Half way through week 1! Definately progressing. Took my pictures and weighed in last night. The hardest goal so far is less TV :-( , already use up 2 of the 3 nights for the week.
  8. Grab your gun and bring in the Panda! 2nd Six Week Challenge! Changed to Adventurers because still not sure what category I fit into. My Story: Finishing up residency, gained a bunch of weight, wanna fit into clothes and feel good about how I look. I'm active on the NF Women's Academy FB but I stink at forums. Using the 6 week challenge for motivation to kick some butt! Main Goal: Lose 5 pounds in 6 weeks. Sub Goal 1: Eat Paleo 6 of 7 days of the week Sub Goal 2: Workout at least 3 days a week with the NF workout plans Sub Goal 3: Meditate at least once each day of the week Life Goal 1: Watch tv only 3 days a week (probably be the hardest) Life Goal 2: Find new gym

  10. Welcome! Your goals look similar to mine! I got myself a new waterbottle to help with my water challenge and make sure to walk everywhere at work for the walking challenge. As for body fat, I think it depends on the person and their body size. Sometimes BMI can be misleading. Can't wait to read more of your adventures!

  12. Going strong so far! Tracking every day in my Character Sheet! Already completed 5 workout and drinking tons of water. My Paleo challenge is going strong, I had carb flu one day but worked through it. I have been going to "the boy gym" to do my inverted rows and work out alone while playing my music outloud (funny how all the other women go right to treadmills and ellipticals). My boss said that this is just a "fad" for me like all the New Years people and I'm excited to prove him wrong!

  15. MsAwesome! Thanks for the complement on the picture, I put it on my workout sheet (with the warm up and recruit workouts typed up). I hope the meetup site works out, for the past year and a half I've pretty much just come home from work and watch tv. I signed up for some geek groups. Went shopping last night, new favorite paleo snack is apples and salami! Don't worry about shyness, most of the time the shy people are the best to get to know! I'm an introvert by nature, but I try to get to know people then they can't get me to stop talking :-).
  16. Main quest - To regain the muscle I lost and lose the weight I gained in residency in the next 6 months that I have left of residency! Goal 1 Complete a 30 day Paleo Challenge, and determine a plan to incorporate it into my daily life! Goal 2 Walk at least 10,000 steps 5 out of the 7 days a week Goal 3 Work out at least 3 times a week at home or work-gym using the NF workout plans or classes Bonus / life goal: Make new friends outside of work by going to Meetups My motivation to stick with my goals is not having to buy a new wardrobe. Around August my pants stopped fitting, and I've been wearing dresses ever since to avoid buying new pants. Need to fit into all my clothes (including wearing pants O.o), and feel confident in them!!!
