  1. Last Sunday my sister came to join us in our D&D campain It was her first time playing, but she did really well and we had a lot of fun This morning (Monday) I decided to do a quick workout before I would do ALL THE THINGS. But I had so much fun I decided to knock out one of my goal: exercise for 2 hours while energized. I did 75 minutes of RingFit and 45 minutes of Just Dance. It was fun, but now I can't lift my arms up anymore (How I actually look during workouts 🤣)
  2. I still think this sounds pretty exiting 😯
  3. I reached my first fitness milestone! The game decided that Peter was going through a phase where he will only wear his avocado bear suit. IRL he only wants to wear his Maki onesie (although he isn't allowed to wear it to school). I thought this was pretty funny Next goal: - Get to level 4 of the fitness skill - Exercise for 2 hours straight while your sim is energized. - Own two pieces of fitness equipment The last one is done (we've got a treadmill and weights with a barbell rack). As for the fitness levels: Source I need to get to level 4. Translating this to IRL I've got to do a boxing workout and a heavy lifting workout (high weights, low reps). Working out for 2 hours straight... I mean, I've done that before. I thing I'll do a dance workout (just dance) followed by a ringfit workout. As for being energized: Sims can get energized from these actions. So I'm off buying a cowplant then...
  4. What is the most illegal thing you've ever done?
  5. My nightmares usually involve elevators going all directions instead of just up and down (sometimes ending in hell or the basement of a hospital). Zombies sound a lot more scary though 😰
  6. I hate when this happens. Get some peach smoothies as soon as you can! They resurrect you. The only right response. Hitting is a sign of weakness and it teaches the kids it's okay to hit someone Awww! That is so sweet! Truth
  7. Fingers are too small and too many
  8. Haha, I forgot about that I did not know either, and also not a fan of third base
  9. I have no regrets I don't like beer. But my husband doesn't like the taste of Heineken. My dad thinks it's okay, but thinks there are better brands. I think the "why" is pretty simple: marketing
  10. Here too. Although I'm glad the fairy tales nowadays are not nearly as gruesome as then. I've been reading my boys new fairy tales. About two kings who wanted a baby and turned to a witch for help, about a princess who didn't wanted to be married off to a prince, but wanted a princess, about the sandman and the "little worry man" working together because just dreaming isn't cutting it anymore for stressed out kids. It is totally okay to take it slow when your body asks for it! I'm reading this amazing book right now "in the flo" by Alisa Vitti. It's about the cyclical nature of women and how to harness and use your energy wisely during the month. Like after your period stops you've got this massive amount of energy and you should do all the things. A few days after ovulation the energy starts to drop and it is time for reflection and gentle movement (like yoga, walks and such). It's about listening to your body and accepting that you are a different person on different days of the month. So please relax, let your body heal and recover. And you'll be kicking ass in no time
  11. Saturday I went shopping with my oldest friend We chatted a lot, because a lot had happened in her life. I also told her that I suspected I have autism, and she was very understanding and supportive ❤️ We ended the day with sushi.
  12. Off course I'm seeing this almost a week later, here is footage of me doing the burpee: And me being proud of myself: (Yes, I had way too much fun using pose packs ) I'm going to trow snowballs at two my fellow pancakes: @deftona and @Shello
  13. After feeling like crap thanks to shark week, I suddenly felt great again on Thursday. I kicked Ring Fit's butt so hard it asked me if I wanted to play on a higher difficulty setting Progress: 2 more hours of training to go before I go to the next step.
  14. Loving this already I'll sacrifice myself next for the good and glory of the pancakes. Waffles come at me!
  15. @deftona when are we going to start?
  16. Monday The sharks held me hostage today So I did the stuff that was absolutely necesary, and the rest of the day: I brought the boys to their swimming lessons. My body did not like that, luckily William took over in the evening ❤️
  17. Sunday Lots of playing today Off course some sims: And in the afternoon D&D William is the DM, Peter plays a Dragonborn Paladin, Cory a rock gnome rogue and I'm a half-elf wizard. It's lots of fun and the boys are doing more and more by themselves, without me or William helping them, each adventure.
  18. Tobbe is right. Gaming is one of the most difficult things for a computer. No recomendations (I got a pc now, no laptop that can handle the sims). Just search for "gaming laptop".
  19. Awesome! Make sure it's a gaming laptop though, most laptops suffer from overheating when you play a game like the sims :D
  20. So glad you're feeling better! And yes, meal planning is the best (I'm extra lazy, I mean efficient: I have my groceries delivered most of the time ) Enjoy the sunshine! Please send some of it here, I'm getting sick and tired of all the rain and hail...
  21. I hope you don't get sick! Naps are good. Also tea and netflix.
  22. My laptop couldn't handle it either, but I managed to buy a decent computer when I closed my sewing business last year abd got money from that I will check it out! You can always scale up and down if you need to. It even asks you on occasion (or every time if you wish) if it should be scaled up or down. My youngest is playing it at difficulty 8 and I'm playing it at difficulty 29. So plenty of room for scaling It hasn't gotten repetitve yet. When you start you get like 3/4 exersises and unlock more of them along the way. Also you should be strategic with what exersises to use on what monsters, there are mini games for bonusses and you can make smoothies (potions) for different perks. Oh, and the way you dress your avatar effects the effectiveness of different moves. So there are lots of things going on to make it interesting. I love sims CC
  23. Just buy her earplugs. Sorry, this just sounds too absurd to me... It look so beautiful!
  24. Cool, thank you! You're absolutely right The best part of it is that I can work out in my pj's
  25. So glad to hear it! The allergist really seems to know what he's talking about Oh no! I hope you'll feel better soon 💗
