  1. After a few research, i came across rippetoe saying fuck rows. Now i'm standing by that.
  2. My gym has 1 squat rack and 1 bench and a bar for each. The bars are rusty but are not bent. It seems like its never oiled. The free weights are rarely used by other members. Should i take the proactive attitude and oil the bars? I wont be moving to other gyms this year because I already paid for a whole year membership. What do fellow rebels think? Would i be overstepping any boundaries or gym codes that i might not be aware of?

  4. I suck at pendlay rows. I just started sl5x5 for 4weeks. My hamstrings and my lumbar are unable to stay tight. Do i have to wait until my back gets stronger until i can get any gains from my rows? Any tips is greatly appreciated
  5. I have a daughter and i am an orthopaedic resident. These two important things in my life always gets in the way of a good night sleep. I love me sleep but ever since i started my medical life sleep has always been a luxury. With a kid? Haha
  6. Hi im ikhwan. I'm from Malaysia a small country neighbouring singapore. i just joined the rebels after reading abou staci's success. That article was a great motivator. I'm not new to weights but I didn't have proper training before. I hurt my back while doing double kettlebell swing. Since i have never done any basic strength training I figured that was my problem. Thats how i discovered rippetoe, ss, sl5x5 and u guys. So my goal now is to build myself from the bottom up. So i hope that eventho we are halfway around the world we can benefit from each other.
  7. What meds are u on? A lot of psychotropic drigs causes increase in appetite and weight gain.
