  1. I have to do it in the morning. I usual get up at 5, but to fit in exercising I have to get up an hour early. I'm a morning person so I don't mind
  2. Well I arose at 4 am and went to the gym this morning. Went to work and when I came home I went running. Made a big pot of chicken noodle soup with all fresh ingredients including broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Doing good
  3. I did go to the gym this morning and did a 30 minute workout. After work I went running, and wow, it kicked my arse
  4. I've decided to take the Quest/6 week challenge thingamajiggy. My goal is to drop from the current 260 lbs to 245 lbs. In order to do this I am going to: 1. Discontinue any relationship I've had with fast food and those types of food i.e. pizza, fries, burgers, Mexican food and dairy, which I eat very little dairy as is. 2. I am going to use the gym membership I purchased but have yet to use since purchasing it a month ago. 3. Get up an hour earlier in the morning to facilitate the gym workouts a minimum of 3 times a week. Not sure what else I was supposed to put on here, but I want to belie
  5. Man oh man, where do I even start? Okay, so I'm a guy who is 46. I quit smoking about 7 weeks ago when I began a new job. I've gained 10 lbs as well due to its sedentary nature. Now this ten pounds is on top of the 40 extra I was already carrying. So I joined a gym almost a month ago, haven't been once. I have vowed though that starting tomorrow morning I will rise an hour earlier at 4 a.m. so I can go to the gym. I used to run 5k and 10k races, do weekend bike rides of 100-150 miles and was in really good shape. But I feel like a helpless turd now. So I posted my crud. Thanks for listening, a
