  1. Thanks!!! and yes! The position is for City Carrier Assistant! (CCA) I'll be sure to keep you all posted!! <3
  2. Thanks! I know you have been doing SWEET yay!! xD Keep it up! I don't know if I will be able to fully count this 6WC as my fitness goals have taken a bit of a back seat...we'll see. Right now I have been REALLY focused on "leveling up my life" in a different way.... I have been really, really, REALLY seriously searching for a new job for the past few weeks. I have put in many applications and am currently in the running for a position with the USPS! I really hope I get hired! I have done the preliminary application, the secondary application, the preliminary assessment, and the secondary assessment. I just took the Postal Exam yesterday and scored really high!!! xD So I am eagerly awaiting word or an invitation to an interview. From my research, the score I received on the exam should guarantee an interview, and, along with my veteran preference, (unless I bomb the interview) I should get the job!! However, the whole process could STILL take WEEKS...(average of 4-6 weeks from application to hire...I'm on week 2...) As an independent student paying for my own school (as I STILL am fighting the VA for my full benefits including the GI Bill), I really need better employment. My current job is not very stable and I am very, very tired living paycheck to paycheck. I know a job at the USPS will not be a piece of cake, but the pay would be very good (because, from my research, PLENTY of hours) and the benefits outstanding! I am going to be 25 years old this year, so having a job where I can start accumulating benefits would be AWESOME. It will take me several more years to graduate as I am in a dual degree (bachelor's+master's) program and can only attend part-time as I have to also support myself. During this time, a job at the USPS would be wonderful. x) Plus, I hear it is GREAT for fitness haha! x) Anyhoo, wish me luck! <333 And keep CRUSHIN' this 6WC hehe xD

and (of course) Wan's story....I enjoyed the relationship between Raava and Vatu, and learning the history of the avatar. x)
  6. Wow I really like these ideas. Thank you! I was kind of gettin' a bit burned out with my full routine...maybe it was a bit much? I didn't want to "quit" though...sometimes I put unrealistic expectations on myself haha. x) Anyway, I will def be re-evaluating my workouts with your suggestions. Here's a picture my friend took of me at the gym! x) (Just kidding I never wear my bib while lifting!)
  7. Thanks! I think it really is helping me rejuvenate a bit. Just finished my first exam...ACED IT!! I have another tonight...wish me luck!! x)
  8. Hey there! I am in the same boat as you. New to strength training/lifting but really like it. I agree with everything that has been posted before. Just research as best you can without getting overwhelmed (there's so much info lol!) and start somewhere. So far, I have learned A LOT and continually am making modifications. Eventually, I am confident I will get into my own groove, and you will too. NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER...just keep going! :-D
  9. wow! that link is perfect! thank you so much! I will DEF be reading through it when I get home. I also will be checking out that TMNT workout too bc, y not? :-) Great job on your workout, good luck on your capstone!, and don't worry, I am the CLUMSIEST person both in and out of the gym hehe. I feel your "dropping a bunch of weights" pain.
  10. Nice goals! I am a veteran myself (Army) and think you following your heart to join up is AWESOME. I look forward to watchin' you CRUSH your Quests/goals!!! HOOAH!!
  11. I actually think that is a great idea. I am already a bit spent by the time I am done with my warm-up, but I just figured I was really out of shape. x) So I'm going to try your advice, and move the 3mi biking (I do this manly because it is the best strengthening physical-rehab type workout for my ankle besides swimming) to my "cool-down" on STRENGTH days and eliminate it from KARATE days as I have the 1km row machine instead (I just really enjoy the row machine hehe). xD How does my STRENGTH work-out look? Too many exercises? Too few? Is it a good "full body" beginner regimen? Think I should change up the # of sets or reps? (Sorry to throw so many questions at you...I don't really have many people to ask in RL about this stuff lol and am not in a place financially to get any kind of trainer sessions...yet ) **edit: http://stronglifts.com/5x5/a fellow warrior suggested this link. it looks super informative and I am going to read thru it, maybe follow its suggestions as far as my STRENGTH work out. x) (I feel more confident following an established, successful road map then just kind of guessing myself along the way. **shrug** )
  12. Thanks! I just finished my Battle Log, and am doing well. I actually decided to give myself a bit of a breather this week as far as my workouts. I have been overly fatigued, I'm looking for a new job, and have an exam Friday lol. I'm still eating healthy, but I have been hitting it hard on all cylinders for several weeks and was really feeling like taking a lil break, just this week. It's probably not the best way to start the 6WC haha, but I am doing my best to avoid burning out in the long run. Other than my actual workouts, all my other Quests have been followed so far. xD ***also finally made my Battle Log so...yay for that hehe! x)
