  1. Mostly! I just did Day 15 this morning. I took a break all weekend from all my working out activities so back at at hope you're feeling better!
  2. How's this week starting out for you? Sweet pics!
  3. Thanks for checking in! Not going to lie, this weekend I fell a little off track... but that's ok. I spent Saturday afternoon with my mom, then grabbed a bite with my parents and partner -- unexpected and nice I worked Sunday at the acupuncture clinic and hung with a few of the staff to catch up about some things after for a few hours. By the time I prepped breakfast and lunch for Monday, my weekend was gone faster than I knew it. So, I fell a couple days behind... Tonight I worked legs - quick, but challenging set of lifts. Incorporated some of my Foundations Training as well (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZcZenvWBlg if you're interested, I'm also in the midst of a 6 week training course to add to the mix of my other stuff!). Made-up a seriously amazing dinner (my partner is a cook and has a, IDK, chef journal? He loved it so much, he asked that I add it in. Win!) -- something like a Mediterranean Farro Salad with Lemony White Bean Mash. Sounds pretty, huh? LOL. Not really paleo, but I eat for what my body asks for these days. After dinner, attempted to catch up a bit with yoga -- did the Saturday and Sunday videos (days 12 and 13, I believe), so about 50 minutes total. Nice, yummy practice and I'm ready for bed.
  4. Yesterday - Yoga - completed Lifting - completed (back and biceps, I think? Yesterday feels so long ago...) Of course I recall my dinner because it was stellar! Paleo and Whole 30 - unintentionally, but makes it all the better, right? Seriously go on and make this one... you won't be disappointed! https://www.paleorunningmomma.com/sausage-stuffed-acorn-squash-paleo-whole30/ Today - Holy smokes... the food struggles and body image issues were a real struggle today. At almost 6pm, I'm finally giving myself a break. A lot of mindless overeating and snacking because I was bored and horribly anxious. Wrote about it some. I like going back to the whole talk to your inner child. Would you say the horrible things to child you that you do to adult you? Yoga - completed over lunch. Barely. It was a stretching and meditation focused one and my pups took full advantage of joining me! hehe Lifted - nice leg workout in, can't complain.. challenging without killin' myself ;-)
  5. Yes! Knee circles were a new one for me. Loved them
  6. It's certainly a goal, but I don't think I have enough poses committed to memory to have a go own my own! Do you have a certain flow memorized or poses you like to stick to? Anyone gotten to Day 6 abs? Oof! A doozy, but loved learning the plank with knee circles.
  7. Yeah, he totally does... and what did he make himself? Banana peanut butter toast. Nothing wrong with that, haha, but seriously?! Avocado, always. Alright. Did it. Got my shoulder workout in while watching a movie and took a break and did my yoga. I really didn't want to do either, but made the commitment. I generally say that I feel so much better after working out, though today...still stand by just not really feeling it. BUT goals accomplished
  8. I forget that people outside of my household generally refer to them as blueberries lol
  9. Updates! Friday: Started my morning off with yoga, sooo nice Had the luxury of working from home, so logged off and immediately got a quick lift in - 30 mins legs and ran off (no, not literally...) to go bouldering. Decided to hit up the abs + core class first, which was killer, but well-rounded. Historically I haven’t been one to work abs much, but am finding it helps with climbing A LOT. Stayed for a few mins after and chatted with the instructor about a few things. So, goals complete and I think my instructor chat counts as a PLUS on the climbing front. Win! Saturday: Anyone else struggle with staying on track on the weekends? Started my morning with yoga. My “lifts” scheduled for today was abs, since I did them Friday...this is me being soft. Goal achieved! Spent a few hours walking a tattoo convention, so bonus on the activity front! Today: Working my acupuncture clinic shift and definitely slept in. Woke up to my partner having made me breakfast (sprouted avocado toast with pinenuts, Turkey, and a side of bloobs - oh and coffee!) such a nice way to start. I’m off to my niece’s first birthday this afternoon and have a lot I’d like to get done around the house. I keep telling myself - JUST MAKE THE TIME. 1 hour. Do your dang things.
  10. Thanks... feeling a tad better today. Fingers crossed it’s on the outs!
  11. Yessss! It’s so fun. We’re you big into bouldering or just dabbled??
  12. Great goals! Following along
  13. Congrats! Almost more exciting when you're least expecting it.
  14. I haven't frozen solid in this tundra yet and looking forward to the balmy 30s ahead next week Day 2: Yoga - goal complete Lifting - shoulders, chest, tris - goal complete AND goalPLUS complete! Added a little cardio on the end: 4 rounds of 45 sec on, 15 off > step up - R, step up - L, 10 bench hop overs + 5 step jump squats, plank shoulder walks, upper-cut/upper- cut/jab/cross Today (Day 3): Could not get out of bed today... woke up feeling so stuffy. PLEASE not again! The universe must be playing some sick joke. Between a cold, sinus infection, and the stomach flu, I've been sick since Thanksgiving. Postponed all workouts until the eve since I got such a late start. That said, I've found that I really prefer to start my day with yoga. Days that I do feel much kinder Lifting - back + biceps - goal complete Yoga - goal complete. Today's theme was stretch and it felt so juicy after bench presses yesterday. Seriously needed that.
