  1. I am Nightshadow! TO THE THEME! This challenge for me is all about the journey. Taking small crucial steps towards larger goals. Survival is all about the long term and I am catching up on the Walking Dead right now so zombies it is!! Goal 1: Be strong like Daryl I will follow the Convict Conditioning progressions. I want to do big things but have seen a plateau. I am going to start from the beginning progressions and have patience. Goal: Workout 3x a week Goal 2: Build endurance like Michonne I (currently) dislike running but want to keep going and work on endurance in addition to strength. I am going to play the Zombies, Run! app, which fits this challenge nicely. I do really well with gamification so hopefully this will do well for me! Goal: Run 3x a week Goal 3: Control my food intake (RIP Bob) I would like to try intermittent fasting. I've read good things and I mean nothing else has been working so, why the hell not? I am going to work up to fasting for 16(ish) hours a day. I will focus on the weekdays and try my best on the weekends. Goal will be to do the full 16 hours all week on week 4. Goal: Practice Intermittent Fasting Goal 4: Keep it professional like Carol I currently dislike my job but like what I am doing so I am going full Trojan Stepford Carol at work. I am going to be all in at work while simultaneously doing whatever I can to leave which means building skills and knowledge. Goal: Read 2 books on my trade Find a mentor
  2. Assassins! For my next challenge (4 weeks! Characters! Change!!) I want to do the Convict Conditioning progressions and intermittent fasting. I've done some research and most of the pros and cons of these, but was wondering if anyone had any experiences actually doing either of these things. Successes? Challenges? Thanks! I hope everyone is having an awesome holidays! [Caveat: I hate the basic narrative of Convict Conditioning and all the ridiculous machismo and whatnot, but I think the progressions look good, so I'm going to go with it for now.]

GOAL 1: Workout 3 days a week 11/18 (+2 STR, +2 STA) 61.1% = +1.22 STR, +1.22 STA GOAL 2: 5 minutes of mobility prior to workout and 5 minutes of stretching after workout 11/11 (+2 DEX, +1 CON) 100% = +2 DEX, +1 CON GOAL 3: Follow Diet Plan 7 days a week 37/42 (+3 CON, +1 STA) 88.1% = +2.64 CON, +.88 STA GOAL 4: Obtain 300 Life Points [goal 50 per week or 300 total] 305/300 (+2 WIS, +2 CHA) 100% = +2 WIS, +2 CHA This format was really effective for me. I might do a point gain system for workouts at some point too, but this really helped me get some life stuff done. Mini-Challenge: #1: Basic +1 DEX #2: Underground +1 WIS #3: Haunted House +1 STA #4: Underwater +1 CON #5: Flying +1 STR #6: BOWSER +1 CHA Starting Measurements: (11/3/15) Weight: 170.4 Ending Measurements: (12/14/15) Weight: 170.4 I didn't do very well at workouts and ate a bunch of dessert at Thanksgiving and afterwards. I'm going to go with a win at not gaining weight.

  9. I too have arrived precisely when I meant to! I'd love to join too! This is a great idea. I need something to convince me to move over the holidays! I would put myself at a 4 fitness right now (high beginner, I've slipped some the past few months so getting back on track). Goals: Keep moving! Stick to a routine/ be fitness and don't skip from laziness. I would benefit from a back to basics PR kinda thing, squats, push ups etc. Don't eat too many sweets. I don't even really like sweets but somehow I have had like 100 desserts since Thanksgiving and that is bad.

  12. Week 3 recap: Completed Mini- Level 3 2/3 workouts. The weekends have not been conducive to working out so I'm gonna try to change up some plans. Diet is good. Adulting week total: 100 points Read Drive = 50 Apply for job! = 50 Total adulting points so far 125!

  17. I finished my crawls last night! We are currently ahead!! Yeah!!
  18. Week 1 so far 3 workouts plus mobility/stretching Diet good so far! No adulting but possible this weekend
