  1. Hey, So My old gym are holding a beginners powerlifting meet. I've never competed before and feel it would be a good opportunity as its somewhere I feel comfortable and it hopefully won't be too scary! However the comp date is only 5 weeks away and I haven't really done any powerlifting training in a while! I've mainly been doing crossfit 2-3 times per week. So I don't know where to start really. Can I improve my strength in 5 weeks? Any advice on programmes? In the past I have tended to just lift with no real structure. Thinking of starting 5/3/1. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance 😀

So it's taken me a while to get back to this post because I couldn't find it! Haha So far it's going well. Really loving my work out routine. Could probably be tighter in on the diet at times but as a whole it's been ok. I've moved cities a few months ago and I have planned to go up to visit my family and old friends next week. This is going to be the biggest Challenege as when ever I go up I tend to go off the rails, it's always dinners and drinks. I think I'll still manage to stick to my workout but diet has always been my biggest weakness.

Hi everyone, This is my first challenge and first time posting on NF. Hoping it will give me a bit more accountability and stop making excuses for myself! Main goals: Get stronger, lose BF while maintaining muscle. I hope to achieve this by following CBL, today I have started 10 day prep of ultra low carbs. It would be great to hear from anyone else who has any experience with this. I aim to lift heavy x3 a week, following a wendler for squat, deadlift and bench. Current: Height: 5ft 8 Weight: 83kg 1Rep max Deadlift:120kg Bench:50kg Squat: 100kg
