Good point, thanks. I actually started started recording a "Captains log... Stardate ...." just using the smartphone as recorder. Definitely helpful

... so I want to exercise public speaking and whatnot during my car commute.. just to keep that eeeennunnziaaashuun going, practice tongue twisters and such... but i can't  find an android app for that in the playstore ?!?!?! only "practice your singing" junk or apps that would require you to push buttons which of course isnt an option...

anyone by any chance aware of "an app for that" ?

I do that when in enclosed spaces and in company, buuut it probably isnt a great idea.. given that a sneeze can travel up to 100mph or so the pressure that is built up to get it to that speed is prolly best released via a big valve. forcing it through the smaller nasal passages might in time have a negative effect, or be detrimental in cases were there already is weakened tissue... er... what on earth am i talking about... ?

Like the others already said.. kids are nutjobs anyway, cute love em to death nutjobs.. don't take it to heart. Had a complete strange kid wanting to be picked up by me for no reason and then the mom told me it was my black leather jacket, an uncle wears them all the time... so that kid prolly just saw scrubs and remembered that monster that gave it a jab for vacination..

 

As to the things you see in hospitals... some of it is heart-breaking and surreal, but you will get used to it with time. You will learn so much about yourself, people and about what is real in a hospital. Keep at it!

Have a look at the ends of the bar, the flat surface facing outside (not sure what the name/word for that is), the weight sometimes is imprinted on that small surface. (had exactly the same prob when loading the bar according to a program)

ok, so the vultures have used certain words and twisted them (like "inspired", "project", "delighted", "stunning", "love" etc.)... but the one that really bakes my noodle is "dream"... follow them, fulfill yours, achieve yours.. blablabla... AAAEEEECHHH

How small people's dreams have become if they think they can be achieved by getting a loan... ahhh o tempora o mores.... ah.... hand me the wine and oh...thwow Prian to the floow !

throwing this at peeps to edumacate them.. and realised i havent one iota of an idea what hick's equivalent for de young uns these days is

... with everyone being told that "saying yes, i can do that, and then figuring out how" is such a great way to get ahead in the ratrace ... is it a wonder that half-arsed is becoming the norm and  peeps are moving jobs so often these days ? gotta go while the credit for it is still good and before someone figures what a complete horlix was sold as good. ... and why the heck did i take so long to understand that ?

Open office environment. BIG office.... "dances with wolves" prairie kind of open space... you can see packs of hamsters roam the floors after office hours... the fridge area has its on micro-climate kind of big office.... etc etc .

Dunno where it comes from.. but some tools have picked up whistling tunes at irregular intervals... others tap their foot listening on their head-phones... bunch of 'em discuss private stuff loudly and laugh like Smurfs on nitrous oxide... ...and then you're "unsocial" for spending most your time with noise cancelling headphones on, just to get stuff done... aghhh

...good excercise in this context:
