  8. Sorry for all the questions! It's just really cool how many interests we share! Fitness, Pokemon, video Games, etc. You also seem really cool in that you've spent so long dedicated to learning renaissance culture and fencing, so congratulations on that. Do you know if your bf ever used the genki textbook? I had heard about that one, but not sure if it was any good or not..but thanks for the book recommendations, everything we're doing right now is digital but it would be nice to have some worksheets to be able to write/think about things on paper. Anyways, thanks for the encouragement, it's really appreciated! !

  10. I'm sure you can do it! I'm going to check out the link to your challenge and cheer you on as well, thanks for coming by and being so nice! Oh! That would be great, I've been curious to have some text book type material for some of the information that they provide that online sorts of sites don't usually think are important. Are you from Germany originally, or did you move there? I also see the Fennekin in your profile pic, do you like Pokemon? I know what you mean about doing art for fun/yourself, I do a lot of design/page layout type stuff at work so even doodling has become a chore for myself, which is not what i had anticipated when I got the job I have. I think making it a priority now while you're still studying seems really beneficial for your personal and career life! I know our school really encouraged people to do their own endeavors and reference them on their resume, whether it was blogs, comics, or vlogs! Do you irl roleplay, or online? What kinds of roleplay? I haven't done any roleplaying in ages, I used to be on so many forums when i was younger (have you ever heard of gaiaonline? lol) Which video games/consoles do you have/like to play? Renaissance fairs are really cool too! How long have you been doing that and fencing? It seems like a really cool hobby to have, do you enjoy it?

  12. Week 1 Status: 1. Log it: 7/7 100% A 2. Move it: 5/5 100% A 3. Practice it: 6/7 86% B 4. Communicate: 3/3 100% A GPA for week one: 3.71 Review: Everything went really well, when calculating my "GPA" for the week I realized that the Japanese is weighted with 4 stat points like logging, so they should be the highest priority for the challenge. So I think I want to try and get that 7th day in on Japanese, and to continue with the Hero's challenge, since it seems a little easier and spontaneous so far than choosing one out of my random stack. I'm excited to do more of the Hero's Journey and see where it takes me. The communicating is turning out easier than I expected too, so would even be willing to weight it less if I did it for another challenge, or just do strictly drawing if that's what it needs to be to be more of a challenge. I did meal prep again this week and weighed everything as well, to help myself get an even better idea of how much food I'm consuming. I decided I wouldn't weigh again til the end of the three weeks, so I had some time to mentally and physically adjust to all the habits!
  13. Good job on the self-reflection! That's such an important thing to recognize that you're doing and to affirm yourself! You deserve to be treated well by yourself, and others, so great to read that. Those exercises all look super major, how long have you been doing strength workouts/when did you start? I swear since I've started logging my food I've been eating really out of character than usual, but I promised myself I'd just log it and not try and be perfect about it just yet, until I'd been logging enough to make it a habit. So it's great to hear that the challenge is already benefiting you and the food choices you're making and your habits! Way to go!
  14. Week 1, Day 7 - March 22nd 1. Log it, everything. (7/7)AM: MR Snack: trail mix & choc. covered peanuts Lunch: L/O baked beans with hamburger and sausage, and a turkey & cheese sandwich w/cranberry jalapeno sauce and a 1/2 piece of sidepork Snack: -- Supper: 2 cuban sandwiches (pork w/seasonings, pickles, ham slice, cheese and mustard) w/potato chips and artichoke dip. (3/3)Accomplished for the week but did give some love gifts to a few families today, and looking forward to connecting more with a family we recently met a few months ago for the first time.
