  1. Week 2 ended on a productive note. Friends were going to the bar around 730 and I opted to skip it and play racquetball for 90 min instead - so it was a two quest swing. Now if it would just warm back up to feeling like spring so I can do some running (I refuse to run in the cold...I'm a prima donna like that) Today's activities: 90 min of racquetball Main Quest: Get back into shape/recover from winter. Measurables would be run 22min - 3mile, add 15lbs to squat and 10lbs to bench by April 5th Run Time: 24:30 (22 min may have been zealous, but I like lofty goals) Squat Sets: +5lbs Bench Sets: +5lbs Quest 1: Run 3 miles or play basketball/racquetball for 1 hour. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Week 1: X000X00 B Week 2: X000X0X A Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Week 1: X0000X0 B Week 2: X0X00X0 A Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week Week 1: 0XX00XX C Week 2: 0XX0X00 B
  2. Week 2 has continued to be an improvement on last week. Eventually I need to look up how the stat points work when you start mid-challenge. Today's activities: 60 min of weight lifting (Bench is +5 lbs) Main Quest: Get back into shape/recover from winter. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Week 1: X000X00 B Week 2: X000X0 Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Week 1: X0000X0 B Week 2: X0X00X Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week Week 1: 0XX00XX C Week 2: 0XX0X0
  3. Update Quest 1: Run 3 miles or play basketball/racquetball for 1 hour. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Week 1: X000X00 B Week 2: X000 Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Week 1: X0000X0 B Week 2: X0X0 Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week Week 1: 0XX00XX C Week 2: 0XX0
  4. thank you, ya we will see how it goes. 22min might have been a bit much, I didn't realize how much I regressed over the winter. But, worst case scenario I keep chasing that number on the next challenge. In other news, Settlers domination occurred tonight instead of going out to a bar. 3 out of 4....its better to be lucky than good!
  5. HI All, Just wanted to introduce myself(Jason), since I am new to the site and living in Southeast michigan.
  6. So day 1 of week 2 was an improvement. Now just need to keep the momentum rolling. Today's activities: 90min of Racquetball, 60 min of weight lifting (Squat is +5 lbs), and no intention of bar starring tonight (though who can say what the future holds) Main Quest: Get back into shape/recover from winter. Measurables would be run 22min - 3mile, add 15lbs to squat and 10lbs to bench by April 5th Run Time: 24:30 (22 min may have been zealous, but I like lofty goals) Squat Sets: +5lbs Bench Sets: ---- Quest 1: Run 3 miles or play basketball/racquetball for 1 hour. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Week 1: X000X00 B Week 2: X Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Week 1: X0000X0 B Week 2: X Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week Week 1: 0XX00XX C Week 2: ?
  7. So week 1 wasn't exactly a stellar performance - 2 Bs and 1 C (I was never much of a student). Will have to step it up week 2. Main Quest: Get back into shape/recover from winter. Measurables would be run 22min - 3mile, add 15lbs to squat and 10lbs to bench by April 5th Quest 1: Run 3 miles or play basketball/racquetball for 1 hour. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Week 1: X000X00 B Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Week 1: X0000X0 B Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week Week 1: 0XX00XX C
  8. So here is through day 5. Kind of bobbled the weekend...but it was fun so worth it. Quest 1 - X000X Quest 2 - X0000 Quest 3 - 0XX00
  9. So here is day 1's update (if this is not how it works please verbally accost me and let me know) Quest 1 - X (racquetball...I got pwned) Quest 2 - X (lifted) Quest 3 - 0 (as in did not bar star today...)
  10. If things go as planned, that bar time will be replaced with basketball/racquetball haha. As for the limiting the number of drinks, I view them like pringles...once you pop, you can't stop
  11. Introduction: Hi I am Jay and this is my first challenge. I have always enjoyed the blog so I figured I would give this a shot (plus the RPG aspect sounds fun). I am completely plaigerizing Blaidds example...but I'm okay with it. Main Quest: Get back into shape/recover from winter. Measurables would be run 22min - 3mile, add 15lbs to squat and 10lbs to bench by April 5th Quest 1: Run 3 miles or play basketball/racquetball for 1 hour. Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week C = 1x/week Quest 2: Weightlift for 45 min Measurement: A = 3x/week, B = 2x/week, C = 1x/week Quest 3: Go out to the bar/drink less (I can't help it, I am social butterfly that can't flap his wings without a social lubricant) Measurement: A = 2x/weekB = 3x/week, C = 4x/week I wasn't sure if I should or should not add the stat rewards yet so I just left them off.
