    Wrap up: I consider this challenge as a learning experience. Whatever I have learned can be used in the next challenge. I have never made much commitment in doing meditation and workout, so there is almost no progress in that area. Regarding my life quest (learning), learning everyday even a tiny bit has helped me to stay motivated and positive. I have selected a big book (about 300 pages) for my reading quest and it was not a smooth read so I was able to read only a few pages and was not rewarding. But reading has helped me to make my brain stay active and understand some deep wisdom. I am now going through some one of the worst phase of life. This challenge is one of the things which keep me motivated and positive. We are now going through the last month of 2015 and this is the time I usually regretting that I have wasted a whole year. But this year I have even tried something to change my life and is far better than the previous years. I am thanking spookyfoot and Jormungand for the support during this challenge.

    Week 6 Last week I was recovering from fever, so I didn’t do much workout. But I have really pushed myself doing the reading and studying challenges. I am so proud and happy about that. Most of the time I start doing the reading and studying challenges after 10.30 pm and complete them after 11.35 pm. I am anxious until I complete them, so it is affecting my sleep quality and it is affecting my energy level next day. I need to do something to deal with this issue by next challenge. Sunday was a rest day and it was so peaceful and I spend a lot of time staring the nature from the balcony of house.     Last week has been stressful mainly because of the work load at my job, but I was able to somewhat do my challenges. In the weekend I develop a fever, reason may be stress. Monday and Tuesday I was taking rest its Thursday now and I was almost recovered. I am still trying to do the challenges except workout. I live in tropics and this year we have a rainy and cloudy December instead of usual sunny and cool December. Global warming may be the villain.     Last week has been good week mentally. Most of the time I was positive, so it was a big progress. Meditation is an area which I need to improve. I gave least importance to the meditation.I think that I can do meditation during free time in office, but it is never happening. I happy with my progress in workout, but I need to be to push myself more during the workout. About my Life Quest , I was able to continuously do this challenge for the 4 days and I was able to study something and It was a first time.     Week: 2 Last week was complete failure. I didn't do any challenge. But it helped to settle my mind. I am starting my challenge again in 3rd week. Quest 3: Do beginners bodyweight workout: Yes Life Quest: Yes An interesting post from James Clear about feedback loops. I think idea of feedback loop may be implemented while doing 6 week challenge.

    Last week my mood was bad and it becomes worst on Monday and Tuesday and it was really hard to do any challenges. But I am in a good mood today. I realize my important problems are negative thoughts (95% of all my thoughts are negative), stopping to enjoy life and addiction to distraction. This infographic and seeing the movie The Giver helps me realize my issues. I will come back with my challenges from tomorrow and try to never go back.

    The first week was really a messy week. Last three days of the week I went for a marriage and I was not in the home. Usually I don't go out of home and last week was a rare kind of week.     Day: 3 Day 3 was good. I have completed all my quests and I have tried to understand and enjoy more during learning and reading. After reading one blog post from James Clear , I realize that I am being too hard on myself. I usually spend free time on work mainly on reading some blogs and news websites and at night watching TV and youtube videos. For few weeks I am being too hard on myself by not allowing watching TV or reading some useless blogs and news. But result was that I am getting more depressed and negative, productivity is also marginal. So, this challenge I will try to be kind to myself and allow watching TV and reading blogs in a controlled manner.

    Thanks, It is actually guide book from author David Cameron Gikandi called "Life Transformation" . It was an old pdf present in the office computer. I started reading that book when I was so bored and I felt so good after reading some pages, so I want to complete that book.

    Day: 2 Yesterday I heard an unexpected news, and it was not a good one. So from the evening I was mildly depressed. I was some what able to control my depression from getting worst, so it was a slight progress. Even though I was mildly depressed, I pushed myself to complete all the quest except meditation.     First day was an OK day, not bad not great. I have completed all my quests except meditation. I have done quest no: 2 and life quest after 10 pm and I fell asleep before doing meditation. Yesterday I have become a part of democracy by voting for election.

  19. I am a 28 year old man who has been struggling with anxiety, stress and self doubt. Most of my days are messy and I am inconsistent in doing things. So I am using this challenge to tame my monkey mind, increase fitness and to be more productive Main Quest: Become mentally strong and mindful Quest 1: Meditate 5 minutes per day. I have never done meditation consistently and I don’t know too much about meditation. Here I am doing a basic meditation of focusing on the breath. I want to increase my knowledge about meditation by end of this challenge Measurement: A = 5 minutes for 6 days, B = 5 minutes for 5 days, C = 5 minutes for 4 days, Fail= below 4 days Quest 2: Read some self-help book at least 20 minutes per day. I have completely read only one book in my life time. I have started reading many books but never completed. So I am using this quest to completely read at least one book. . Measurement: A = 20 minutes for 6 days, B = 20 minutes for 5/4 days, C = 20 minutes for 3 days Fail= below 3 days Quest 3: Do beginners bodyweight workout 4 times per week allowing a one day interval after a workout day. I am never consistent in doing any workout, so I am using this challenge to develop a habit of doing workout. Measurement: A = 4 days per week; B = 3 days per week, C = 2 days per week Fail= Below 2 days Life Quest: To get a better job by increasing my knowledge. I also struggle with consistency in my studies. I usually study whenever exams are near just to pass the exam. I have joined a partime course for getting a better job. The chance of getting a better job mainly depends on my knowledge in subject. Classes are only on the weekend so I need to study during the weekdays which I rarely do. So I am using this challenge to consistently study something every day. Measurement: A = 30 minutes for 6 days, B = 30 minutes for 5/4 days, C = 30 minutes for 3 days Fail= below 3 days Motivation: For the last five years there have been no changes in my life, just the same messy and stressful days.
