  1. Thanks, everyone! I'm aiming for 100 pushups as my next milestone (following the hundredpushups regimen). Then I'd like to go back and re-do the plan with full, on my toes, real pushups. Building upper body strength is one of my (many, ugh) goals.
  2. Glad to 'meet' Rebels near & far Lachy, hi! You wouldn't happen to have any recommendations for 3K-5K running routes near the CBD? Reeeally trying to get back into it, before it gets too humid.
  3. Big congratulations!! A marathon is on my "someday" list. It's gotta feel great to smash your PB like that!
  4. Love the video icfasntw posted. I've wanted to get into indoor rock climbing for a while, and there's a climbing gym literally down the street from me. The problem? I guess I'm intimidated. I'm out of shape, upper body strength is definitely not my forte, I don't know anyone who climbs and I just moved here so I don't have a partner for belaying, what if I'm too weak to do it, and walking around wearing the harness... I don't know how to get started.
  5. Another n00b here. Thank you SO much for posting this! It hit home for me and felt like a missing puzzle piece added to the board. I started practicing yoga when I was 12 because my doctor said it would help with flexibility, balance, body awareness, and joint soreness caused by major growth spurts. I slacked off when high school and university got too busy, but I'm getting back into it now. I missed this! I do hatha sessions twice a week and it is the only exercise that leaves me feeling revitalized when I leave the studio. So happy to see others here enjoying yoga, too
  6. I know I've got so far to go, but today I did 50 pushups. The girly ones, from my knees, still... It's 50 more than I could do three weeks ago Clinging to every little gain as motivation.
  7. Anyone living near Brisbane or traveling through Aus? I'm new to the area and to NF, and I could use all the help I can get
