[DrEvil] One Thousand Pounds! [/DrEvil]

Keep in mind Wendler doesn't advise to go for AMRP on your worksets while doing BBB. http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/the_boring_but_big_3month_challenge -

To be fair he's hook-gripping, still beastly though.

Any Thoughts On Rippetoe's New Article
chairohkey replied to chairohkey's topic in Strength Training!
Examples? Where are their training templates? The top medal producing countries' athletes are genetic freaks. The US doesn't have that luxury. If we're ever going to start medaling again we have to bridge that genetic gap somehow. Becoming stronger, in absolute terms, than the competition seems to be one option. If that comes at the price of some main lift technique work, than so be it. What have we got to lose, can't get any worse than 31st in the world right? -
Any Thoughts On Rippetoe's New Article
chairohkey replied to chairohkey's topic in Strength Training!
Really? See this post it has links to several USAW programs. I don't see deadlifts anywhere in there. Rip's argument isn't that they don't "strength train" its that they don't program for PRs on the SQ, DL, and OHP to drive up strength. -
Fail. Tell your friend they need to go back to school.

I've been running BBB for about 2 weeks now. It sucks but its doable. In this article Wendler advises to split the BBB lifts up. For example on squat day do BBB deadlift and on bench day do BBB press, and vice versa.

This. I think studies have shown football performance is best at around 13-20% BF depending on position.

Once again I'm aware of this, hence the Jeff Cooper quote. I'm ready to accept the risk of prison and ass rape, if it means protecting my loved ones. Edit: Ask yourself a quick question. Would you rather put your life in the hands of twelve of your peers in a court of law or the criminal threatening you?

Who cares. I find it bad form to critique those stronger and more experience than me.
