  1. Maybe he got lost exploring and we should go look for him? So Rebels here's what we gonna do to get our guild leader back: The highly inofficial Search and Rescue Operation Additionally to adding distances on the Goals sheet for exploring, please add them to the sheet 'Finding zeroh13' as well. The person who walks, bikes, runs the most during this search and rescue operation will earn an extraordinary prize! As soon as zeroh appears again the search is over! [I know this is not the most creative way to continue the story, but this is from the top of my head. Please continue to add numbers to the Goals sheet as usual, since this is the official part]
  2. So far week 3 isn't a blast. As mentioned my knee troubles me since Tuesday evening. (Too many hard kicks maybe). Overall I was quite active so far, but not everything is adding up to reaching my goals. But since I had trouble logginf my actions of last week, here's what I did so far: - Played Badminton on Monday, unfortunately not part of my goals - Did a short push-up workout on Monday - Did a short pull-up workout with a balance board warm-up on Tuesday - Went to wotk by bike (and back). Not part of my goals, but it was so nice and warm outside, finally! - Was leading a 10-min workout group at work on Tuesday, unfortunately not part of my goals - Went to Wing Tsun training on Tuesday, uinfortunately not part of my goals (hurt my knee) - Did a Beast Workout on Wednesday: Shoulders - Was leading a 10-min workout group at work on Thursday, unfortunately not part of my goals I don't think I should do the complete balance board warm-up while my knw is still thick and wobbly. Major part of it is standing balance. But I still can do the plank and sit-up balance.
  3. Oh man, I'm so late to write this. But things didn't work out as expected. First I got a cold which forced me to take a break, then I had forgotten to take the esater holidays into account, now I twisted my knee and it hurts and I have to take it easy regarding working out the legs. So I will write down the results for week 2 here but will not take them into account when it comes to the final evaluation. 4. Hi, Positive Blue. How is your challenge working out for you?
  5. Hi tonic, nice to see that I am not the only one who uses the NF character system. I hope you survived the tax season so far. Looking forward to seeing an update so we can make sure this respawn will be a success!
  6. Hello Phoenix, good to see you and your colorful challenge charts (I really like them) So how is it going?
  7. Hi Feydakin, how's the challenge going for you? Did you manage to keep your commitments? (You can try to just describe the positive aspects, so that you are in alignment with your 'Complain less' goal ) Cannot answer your question really, since I'm a fan of the big water bottle (have a desk job). But a not so serious solution might be THIS?
  8. Hi, totally on your side here concerning the priorities. Nonetheless if you have the time I'd be happy about an update.
  9. You never finished it... really...? Well... ...me neither Fallout in the desert didn't captivate me as much as the ruins of DC did. So after playing NV for a few hours I got back to Fallout 3 + DLCs + Mods. *cough* ...well, anyway: Good job on your goals, especially the 4/3 strength training
  10. So in between challenges I allowed myself a break and just relaxed. Getting back into the routine and defining the new challenge goals took a while but I did it. So here we go with challenge #8: And this is how the story continues: A few days later as he was on his way back to the Rebels Guild Camp a came along a small hut. It had a small untamed garden with a small well and was fenced by a badly maintained wooden fence. Smoke was coming from a small crooked chimney. In front of the house there was a small wooden table where an old man was eating and drinking noisily, before he looked up and waived for Iceburner to come closer. And this is how Iceburner met The Old Master As Iceburner gets closer to the table a big grin appears on the old man's face. "So you are Iceburner? Thought you were bigger...", says old one and takes a huge bite off the chicken leg he casually swings around while talking. "You know me?" "No, just heard of you. About your deeds, but also about how lazy and overconfident you get once you achieved your goal!" says the old man pointing the chicken leg accusingly at Iceburner. "And let me tell you. I will have none of that as long as I teach you!" "Wait what...", Iceburner starts, but is stopped by a backpack hitting his face. "First, go to the village and fetch some things for me, will you? There's a list in the bag. Then come back immediately, because you need alot of training. Now hurry and don't dawdle. " Confused and not sure how it came to this Iceburner hurried towards the village.
  11. Late but nevertheless: Too good a theme to not follow. So, how are things going?
  12. Hey, Zero, did you have time to think about your challenge goals? Did you dig into this intuitive eating stuff? Have you seen Spring now? Have there been confirmed sightings of the easter bunny? Did you at least get all the clothes that you wanted? Is bubble tea really that good?

  14. Hi, Dark Artemis. I just finished to define my goals in writing a few minutes ago, so... you're not last in posting what you want to do. Hope the challenge works out for you so far?
  15. Hi Schaengel, hope you're doing better now?
  16. Finally I cought up with this thread and added my numbers to the Time Rebels Spreadsheet. - Exploring: I'm lucky that I took a long walk with my wife today, otherwise there would have been no exploring this week for me - Protect: Not many workouts this week so far, so just a bit over one hour of protecting - Survive: Luckily I usually cook often and a lot of vegetables. Unluckily this was an unusual week with a lot of takeout stuff and similar. But I can contribute 5 meals for the group's survival.
  17. Puh, finally I finished my goal description here. There wasn't really much time to do that this week (or the week before). Now I have a lot of reading to do, since I have to catch up on all your progress and also on the dinosaur stuff... especially on the dinosaur stuff
  18. Main Quest THE OLD MASTER Story: As Iceburner gets closer to the table a big grin appears on the old man's face. There's a list in the bag. Then come back immediately, because you need alot of training. Now hurry and don't dawdle. " Confused and not sure how it came to this Iceburner hurried towards the village. Goal: While I had a blast during my last 4wc I know that sometimes it's hard to keep going the same pace on the following challenge. The fact that I write these words 5 days into the challenge is evidence enough. I'm already lagging behind on goals that I didn't even write down yet. But it's all in my head and waiting to be written here. So go me! Loot: There are some music LPs I wanted to order the other day. 19. Previously on the Iceburner Battle Log:... Adiposis, the Obesity Oger, offspring of Sloth, god of the lazy, and Gluttony, goddess of the ravenous was about to destroy this hero's life happy life if not stopped. After achieving a temporary but nonetheless epic victory Sloth, god of the lazy, had somehow convinced his cousin the goddess Liability to send their sons Strain and Burden to diviate Iceburner from the path of awesomeness and he strayed. Weary from battle he decided to settle in the valley of Cosy and let the rebellion continue the fight without him. And he and his wife lived happiliy... until... Until our hero relized that the minions of Adiposis were creeping up on him again. So he decided to follow the way of the Rebel doing whatever needs to be done to best Adiposis and his minions. So he picked up two cudgels and set out again to give the Obesity Oger a good beating... with a vengeance! His first opponent was the Belly Beast, one of the many minions of the Adiposis, which had watched Iceburner secretly over the last year, using every oppotunity to grow until it was ready. It just appeared once in a while, peered at him from under one of his old T-Shirts. Sometimes it hid in plain sight when Iceburner was walking by a mirror on his way to the shower. Its time was now. It leaped at him heading directly for his eyes. After a long struggle that felt like weeks Iceburner could best him and decided to tame the Belly Beast and continue to train it as a companion to help in his fight. Iceburner knew he could use all the help he could get. So he joined the Rebels Guild and participated in their Rebel Boot Camp where he managed to become an Elite Cadet. Together with them he went out on Field Training and his first mission for The Rebel Guild. They successfully finished the mission together. A few days later as he was on his way back to the Rebels Guild Camp a came along a small hut. It had a small untamed garden with a small well and was fenced by a badly maintained wooden fence. Smoke was coming from a small crooked chimney. In front of the house there was a small wooden table where an old man was eating and drinking noisily, before he looked up and waived for Iceburner to come closer. And this is how Iceburner met The Old Master to be continued...
  20. Hi, I'm Iceburner. Started here in the NF Rebellion about 3 years ago if you can believe my BattleLog. Were active for 6 challenges, then had a long break and respawned about 6 weeks ago. I joined this guild last challenge and will continue here with my new challenge as well. Good to see some familiar faces... err... avatars already and looking forward to another awesome 4 weeks. Ah, yes, some private information. I'm from Germany, am 40 years old, married and my main hobbies are gaming and Wing Tsun. Ok, let's go! Wait, not yet! First I have to write something that I like about myself. Ok, apart from my amazing looks and that I am filthy rich it's probably my modesty and honesty... ... ...no? ...ok, it's my sense of humor. I like my sense of humor!
  21. Thank you @zeroh13 for an enjoyable mini with atmospheric story telling

Congratulations on your challenge. Please don't hesitate to come back whenever you need the support of the Forum again.
  23. Successfully - finished my challenge - reached lvl. 10 Elite Cadet in Rebel Mini: Boot Camp - and leveled up: Epilogue BAAM!!!... with a final decisive bash Iceburner knocks the Belly Beast to the ground where it lies unable to move. After an exhausting fight that seemed like... err... weeks, the battle is won. Time to give the beast the final blow... But wait, now that it lies before him, breathing heavily Iceburner sees that it seems somehow different... almost changed. While it was more blob-like in the beginning, now it seems to have lost some substance. Yes, while still kind of voluminous it's more... hmm... well shaped? Ok, it's still looks more like a beer keg than a six-pack, but the taint of evil seems to have vanished... Iceburner carefully takes a step closer as the beast slowly opens his eye and looks at him. Awww... look a this puppy eye (wait, that can't be right?... Must be the navel...)... how cute. Maybe he wouldn't need to kill it, he could keep it, train it, make an ally and fight with him side by side? But can he trust this creature? Probably not too much. But right now in this state the Belly Beast is helpless. OK, let's give it a try. He covers it with a T-Shirt and secures it with a leather belt. The Belly does not resist just purrs content. Iceburner quickly prepares a healthy meal which the Belly gobbles up making happy noises: 'Alright, this could really work!', thinks Iceburner:' More healthy food and strict training and I make Beasty Belly out of this Belly Beast.' After feeding the Belly and making sure it fell sound asleep, Iceburner takes a look around at the scene of the battle. His camp where the attack occurred is in disarray. Dumb bells, yoga mats and sweaty clothes are all over the place. Time to clean up. Wait a minute... has this bag been here before? Did it belong to the beast? But how would a beast... nevermind. Iceburner opens the bag and finds some sweet loot: - Hide of the Belly Beast (did it have an extra one? Probably the winter hide), enough to make a training vest, a shirt and new swimming trunks out of it - 4 books on martial arts (glad the Belly didn't read them beforehand) - The captains log (Some adventurer must have used it before, maybe there is some valuable information. I can use the empty pages to log my progress) and - A little wooden box with a clever Kobold inside (Could help to track my food and give me valuable tips, I should keep him? Later that night Iceburner sits by the fire and looks at the stars. 'What a strange and wondrous story I got myself in. I wonder what comes next...' Level UP! 24. I started my next 4-week-challenge here: SLAYING THE BELLY BEAST Story: The Belly Beast, one of the many minions of the Adiposis, had watched Iceburner secretly over the last year, using every oppotunity to grow until it was ready. It just appeared once in a while, peered at him from under one of his old T-Shirts. Sometimes it hid in plain sight when Iceburner was walking by a mirror on his way to the shower. Its time was now. It leaped at him heading directly for his eyes.
