  1. Thanks bud! Here's an update! I'm on DAY FOUR with NOTHING but water! (Well, minus two sips of a monster and a Dr. Pepper, but...ugh >.>) I'm still going strong and proud of myself. I passed yesterday's level one Angry Birds levels with flying colors, and I have no muscle soreness today, which I hope is a good thing.

  3. Oh boy. Up and sore as hell on Day 2, but, I'm satisfied with a bit of a burn. Here we go!
  4. Bahaha! No, as I have mentioned somewhere in my random mass of posts, and as it was my understanding, a Main Quest is supposed to be long term -- more than six weeks. I intend on working on my physical activity this six weeks. Next challenge will be a diet re-vamp. All of which will hopefully leading to the obtaining of my long term goal - dropping forty pounds.

QUEST LOG NUMBER ONE I AM IN CAPS BECAUSE I AM THE EPITOME OF EXCITED WOOOOOOOOOOO The only thing I did not complete was waking up before 9am, and, seeing as how I'm used to waking up at noon, I'll take waking up at abou 10.30am as progress. I only went on one run/jog for thirty minutes, but the rest of my hours' worth of physical activity was completed by the angry birds' workout. I completed all level one tasks. I also managed to drink only water today as well. I'm happy with my 80 percent success rate! Tomorrow's goals? Same, only minus the Angry Birds. I am going to be rolling around in muscle pain tomorrow.
  6. I have done so much more than finishing! -strikes victory pose- 1 mile, 64 minutes of physical activity, Level 1 beaten on all Angry Bird work outs, and nothin' but water drank! I am -so- happy with myself.
  7. Oi...Nearly over with day one...thirty minutes of walking and I've almost made it a day with nothing but water. Caffeine headache already but I'm going good. O_o 1 mile down!

  15. Hello, world! Thanatos here again, resident newbie at life. There is so much I want to do in life. In fact, I'm not sure where to start! I'll be in here periodically, day in and day out, updating and what not. For starters, I believe, I want to divide things into sections. Sort of like...groups of quests. Physical Quests (0/12) Wellbeing Quests (0/9) Intellectual Quests (x/x) Writing Quests (x/x) Traveling Quests (x/x) Career Quests (x/x) Entertainment Quests (x/x) Each group of quests will have a subgroup, which I'll work on when I get to it, and separate posts.   16. Thanks lots guys! I know I try to overload myself and go crazy with goals, so I figured it best if I start out small. I'm already used to drinking water, I'm at a point where I could drink other stuff occassionally but water be what I mostly drink, but I want to go ahead and get rid of soda and pop and Monster and any alcohol that I inhale. I figure this challenge, I focus on getting into a routine. Being a little more active and drinking water, and the next six weeks, I'll revamp my diet. Also. Hi Lady!

  19. Oh goodie, now I don't even know where to start as far as my physical stuff goes. I was thinking of doing a toned down p90x routine but scrapped it...This Angry Birds thing looks incredible, o_o This may be just what I need. I want to take a minute to thank everyone too who has taken the time to respond and help me out. This is nowhere near as intimidating as I thought it was going to be. X)
  20. Ooh, boy. Here we go. My first six week challenge. The first step taking control of my life, and living it how I want. On my terms. Living my dreams. Making the most of every breath. I know I can do that. My first quests are simple; Lose 40 pounds, accompanied by drinking water (cutting out that demon Mountain Dew) and doing something active for sixty minutes every day, even if it's just walking. I want to toy around with doing other exercises during this time period, seeing what all my body is already capable of doing. I plan and hope on posting here once in the morning and once in the evening. This thread will be kept up for the duration of my first Six Weeks' challenge. More detailed stuff will be located in my Epic Quest thread, which by the time I'm done with it will have 56417651564 posts and then some. What do I hope to accomplish tomorrow? 1. Wake up before 9am 2. Go for a run/jog for 30 minutes 3. Drink only water 4. Go for a run/jog for 30 minutes 5. Angry Birds Workout Easy peasy. Suit up!

Main Quest A New Life : Lose 40 Pounds Side Quests Only the Pure : Drink Only Water Starting Somewhere : 60 Minutes of Physical Activity per Day I am only sticking with two side quests this time around, since it's my first challenge and I don't want to overwhelm myself. I'll be keeping a detailed log of what goes on in the Daily Battle Logs per day. I'm excited to get started. Wish me luck!

  23. As much as I'd love to do something major to my diet, funds and other such demand 'no'; so I believe my side quest three is going to be more along the lines of, limiting myself to eating fast food 'x' times a week.
