  1. Hey, came back from being gone a while. Was in the Ranger Guild and decided to try my hand out in the Assassin Guild. From the description, I think that I will really enjoy this group. So far I am doing body weight exercises and I am training for an obstacle course race. But, glad to be a part of this guild.
  2. Well, I am back!  Last time I was on here I was a ranger elf trying her hand out with the paleo diet and just finished the orientation level.  Well, I am back and since then figured out that the paleo diet did not work out for me.  Once I had changed my eating habits to a more balanced type of diet, that was when the pounds start to come off.  I had lost about 20-25 lbs but still have a long way to go.  I had also taken up 5K running and so far have 3 5K's under my belt for the year.  I had also signed up for a obstacle course run in June 2017 so I am preparing for that.  My struggle is that I lack consistency and am trying to change that.  I even chose a heck of a time to do it-during the holiday season! :apologetic:

I came back because I want to start having fun on my journey.  Hopefully, I will stick around to get past the level I was on!

  3. Am running a bit late for the challenge but, I am coming along with the mini challenge, since I had been able to accomplish the endurance challenge for the week. So here is my race, class, and feats. I am going to attempt to roleplay this one so bear with me I had never roleplayed before. Better late than never! Race: Field Elf Class: Mercenary Endurance Feat: 4 mile walk with full ruck Strength Feat: PR my military press with 24 kg kettlebell with both left and right sides Speed Feat: Do 200 swings in 10 minutes (that will be 20 reps at the top of every minute) Combat Feat: Do a 20 minu
  4. Hello everyone. I am moving into the Rangers Guild just coming from the Recruits Guild! Am looking forward to the next challenge which is starting in a couple weeks and all the adventures that may entail! But stopping by to say hi and to introduce myself. Have a great weekend!
  5. I had seen your posts around on the different threads when I was surfing around the site. You can't imagine my surprise when I noticed you posted on my thread. Thank you for your complement about my kettlebell skill, but believe me, I still have a lot to learn. I think that it is impressive that you self taught yourself how to use kettlebells. When I firist learned about kettlebells, I tried self-teaching myself with them too. When I did more research on the them, I finally seeked the help of an RKC ketlebell instructor per the advice I recieved from the different articles that I read ab
  6. Well, just about to graduate the recruit guild and moving onto the Ranger Guild! I am totally pumped up for this next challenge! I have decided on the first day of my second challenge, I am going to adapt a story line type of format. I am not a gamer and I really don't read or watch a lot of fantasy or sci-fi type of stories or movies (not that I don't enjoy them), so I can't really base my storyline off of a certain book, a movie (well, maybe Lord of Rings which I imagine is very typical), or a game unfortunately. But, I have been blessed with a very large imagination and had decided to
  7. Before the challenge, I had checked out the different guilds and was torn between the assassins and rangers. I had made my decision a few days before the start of this current challenge to be a ranger. Reason: because I am using kettlebells for exercise and kettlebells are used quite a bit in Crossfit and I have some long-term goals that have a lot to do with the kettlebells. I am not a crossfitter but a kettlebell fanatic. So, the rangers was the best guild for me. Also, I had an opportunity to talk to the guild leader and some other Rangers. I think later in the future to go assassin

  12. Hello, I had been a while because on top of work getting more busy, getting involved with religious life, my husband just had surgery just a couple days ago on his knee. I haven't been on because I had spent the days before his surgery getting ready for it and these last couple days taking care of him. So, I haven't really been there to keep up with the challenges. I noticed that Blaidd had responded on our thread, so I think she had been busy. Still trying to chug along on my quests. Since this is the last week of the challenge, I am going to catch up on my mini quests. Choosing a recip

  14. Hahaha! DarK_RaideR, I am doing much better thank you! Today, I don't have the stomach pain. I don't know if there is a bug going around or if it was something that I ate. I know that I will get on top of the kettlebell training for today. Looking at the posts on the Campus Tour thread, somebody took note that Blaidd hadn't logged in since the 7th which is a week ago from today. Somebody else in the group checked out other recruit challenges in the past and found that on this week we should share a favorite recipe. They went ahead and took initiative and posted the challenge for us so
  15. Well, don't know what is going on with Miss Blaidd (guild leader), but we haven't had our mini challenge for the week. She is really good about letting the team know what the next challenge is the beginning of the week. I hope she is doing alright. Right now, I am under the weather. There has been this bug going around in which it involves upset stomachs and vomitting. Luckily, I don't have the vomtting part ot it, but the upset stomach, yes. My stomach started to ache yesterday afternoon right after lunch. It felt like somebody punched me in my stomach. I was not feeling too good at a
