Been active, haven't been posting.
Calories have been good - lower than 2000 every day (the actual goal is 1780, but this is acceptable). Scale is heading in the right direction.
I've run from zombies, biked, or lifted most of the days.
I will do better at posting, because it is good for me.

Sunday: forgot to track calories, but ate like I had a modicum of sense, so no worries
Today: Lifted. In pounds:
Squat
2 x 5 at 45
1 x 5 at 95 (hello, warm-up sets...I've missed you)
5 x 5 at 100
OHP
2 x 5 at 45
stopped because I slept strangely on my shoulder and ohp hurt. Because of course it did.
DL
2 x 5 at 85 - no back pain at all on this.
Calories for today: 1732

Thursday, ran from zombies, 1732 calories
Friday, 2033 calories (although it was dinner out, so hard to say)
Today, lifted - in pounds
Squats
2 x 5 at 45
5 x 5 at 95
Bench
2 x 5 at 45
5 x 5 at 70
DB row
3 x 8 at 30 per side
Then I walked with a friend and her kids...just a mile, and we strolled, so it doesn't count as cardio (my heart rate can't possibly have gone up), but it was nice.

As always, wise Urgan is wise.
New job stress is A THING...for a long time! Plus your body is recovering like whoa from some real stuff.
I think that after we started lifting, we really start to "know" our bodies better, so when we are injured/sick/tired we feel it more. But that's a good thing, really! Because we can recover when we need to...even if it is frustrating.
Enjoy this cat...that the giphy says is also wise.

No thread hijacking intended, but getting through the miserable Boston conditions wouldn't have happened without Emd! The level of support and dedication she showed getting in line at the bar at 7am to see me for 30 seconds 7 hours later was amazing
It was a struggle to start that early... but here is the proof of his family's dedication...and Irish coffee *is* a coffee drink. Totally acceptable for 8 o'clock in the morning.

Hahaha... What if I had been more specific with my units...
A gif per hour? A gif per word (can you imagine?!) A gif per goal per post?
We'll stick with "a gif per whenever I feel like it", lol

No theme, just gifs.
I'm not going no words (although that one was fun)...just whatever gifs I feel like including. I do not promise that they will all make sense.
Goals:
1. Lift 3x per week (still at rehab weights - allllllllllmost healed, though)
2. Zombies Run! 2x or more per week (walk/jog/run quick, there are ZOMBIES!)
3. Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut. 1780 calories or below.
4. Sneak in some yoga.
Unrelated to my goals, but I want to brag:
MY HUSBAND RAN THE BOSTON MARATHON THIS PAST MONDAY!!!!!!!!
(This is a HYUGE accomplishment, complete with qualifying requirements and a sweet swagalicious jacket).
As a non-runner, I didn't realize what a freaking big deal the Boston Marathon actually is until he started training to qualify. I'm so proud of him!- 8
