  1. Day 4 finished off the broccoli and tofu... Scoops of peanut butter and a banana. Corn chips, a honey crisp apple. a couple of slices of cheese. More corn chips. Sala and dressing, mashed potatoes.
  2. So day number 3. still not hungry, but had broccoli, tofu and Anne's shiitake dressing for breakfast. went out for lunch with my family.... Nothing on the menu for me, so I had mozzarella sticks, French fries and icecream. No dinner, but I binged on American cheese (half the package), while binge watching the Flash.
  3. Well.... Today is the first day of a mandatory family vacation. The chores are going to be kind of whacky... 1) no dinner 1/4 2) not a workout day 6/12 3) took Ellie for a walk 12/28 4) not at my house., so don't really know how to address this one. going to bed for the night...starting fresh tomorrow
  4. Check in from yesterday. Was out most of the day. Not my most successful, but there you go. 1) went out to red lobster for lunch with my family. It was my sons idea. A rare occurrence for us. So I'm counting it as a family meal together. That makes two this week. Too bad the parameters of my goal don't let me add the points. Still at 1/4 2) did my workout. Felt awesome! 6/12 3) no Ellie walk... Feel bad about that. My Sn walked her earlier in the day, so she got a walk, but I didn't. 11/28 4) not all chores done....no reason why really. Just didn't feel like it. 9/28

  6. Well yesterday was a mixed bag. 1) no dinner 1/4 2) not a workout day 5/12 3) Ellie was walked (almost didn't happen, but I'm glad it did) 11/28 4) I missed a "today" chore. Would have been easy to do, and I did more than the 3 dailies,. But I fell asleep early. So I'm still at 9/28. I started my my food log two days ago. All I have to do is finish today to complete a quest. I've been eating even when I'm not hungry, and feeling frustrated with myself for eating anyway. Damn brain chemistry! Sigh.
  7. Breakfast: peacans and two hardboiled eggs Lunch: Pecans, strawberries & blueberries & GF cranberry protein bar. pecans on the way home from work., pineapple as a snack as soon as I got home. (Wasn't hungry, but was in the mood for icecream. The pineapple was sweet and cold.... eveneing food was was a total f up. Peanut butter from the jar, Pineapple chunks, bagel and cream cheese (like half the container) cheese sticks (like 8 of them). Again, wasn't hungry at all :(.
  8. 1) Yay! I we finally had a family sit down dinner! I wasn't really hungry at all because I had a good lunch around 2:00. Neither was my husband. But, it was worth it. We did tacos and quesadillas. It was super easy! 1/4 2) did my workout this morning. Pushed a bit harder and leveled up a little. I think I need to start logging stuff soon. 5/12 3) I was walked by Ellie. 10/28 4) chores have been done: 9/28 I had, for me, a good insight today, namely being aware that this 4 week challenge doesn't have to be perfect. I just have to stick to it. I was reading through the academy goals and one of the goals listed is to complete a perfect score. I know it's pretty obvious, but the idea just really sunk in today. Even if I only am 50% successful this time around, it's still a success, because I will have done more than I was doing a month ago. It's such a relief knowing that! So my aim is not to get a perfect score this time around, rather the point is to just finish it.... To be o.k with that, to not feel like a failure because I didn't get it all right.... It's liberating! I can work on a perfect score some other time - when the time is right. Other er than that, I'm tired tonight. My kids were up late watching tv -which woke me up, and Ellie got up at least three times during the night. I may have been in bed, but I've been awake since 3 am. I think I'm going to call it a day pretty early tonight.
  9. I'm trying to not put too much effort into this.... just want to have a good/consistent place to write this stuff down. Respawned a month ago. I'm on the nutrition module now.... So here we go Food Log for 3 days: Wednesday 7/19/17: Breakfast (around 10:00-ish) Vitamins Kalamata Olives Kashi Sweet Potato Bowl (frozen meal) Pineapple chunks Lunch (around 2:00) Vegan "chicken strips", sauteed broccoli and mushrooms with peanut sauce dinner was 2 tacos:. Taco barf, lettuce and tomato. No dairy. (I wasn't really hungry, but I ate it anyway.)
  10. Yesterday was eh.... 1) no dinner still 0/4 2) no yoga or workout, but it wasn't a MWF, so remained at 4/12 3) walked Ellie right when I got home (ankle was a bit achey, but did it anyway) 9/28 4). Chores were done 8/28.
  11. Sounds like your making some good progress. Yay water! It's the best thing you can drink! ;).
  12. Woo hooo! Back on the wagon. Arrow fest complete. 1) ingredients purchased for tomorrow's dinner . 0/4 2) did my workout this morning( had a wierd low sugar or dehydration issue, but a quick snack kept me going). Almost didn't finish, but then though f**k that! and pushed on through. 4/12 3) Ellie walked. 8/28 4) chores done 7/28 I feel like I'm awesome, and that I kicked butt today ;).
  13. I so desperately wish I had a good local pool. The only one nearby is in a cruddy local gym, and I hate to pay the membership fees to use it only once or twice a month. But swimming IS the best! So instead, I use a stationary cycle when I can. I love a rowing machine. Unfortunately both of these options are tied to local gyms as well. One friend recommended a punching bag, but I haven't tried that yet. Mostly, I walk.
  14. Well oops. I had a thoroughly delightful weekend binging on Netflix (had to catch up on the Arrow). No dinner (we're still 0 for 4) Did yoga, but nothing else 3/12 didn't walk Ellie, she was a bit restless in the house... so that keeps me at 7/28 Did some chores but not all so we're staying with 6/28 And I am perfectly content, because I had fun with my kids :). This morning started well. Did my workout so we're already on the right path. Just gotta get through work and get home to do the rest.
  15. Yesterday I continued with the Netflix binge. No dinner 0/4 no workout or yoga: 3/12 did walk Ellie 7/28 didnt track chores... Oops 6/28. Might catch up with them today....
  16. didn't post last night, because the family was doing a full on Netflix binge of The Arrow. 1). No dinner, because somebody ate a pizza just before I got home from work and wasn't hungry 0/4. Saturday will be my last chance. 2). Did my workout: 3/12 3) walked my little girl after work. I really didn't want to go out, but realized it wasn't about what I needed.... 6/28 4) chores were done. 6/28.
  17. Tired tonight. Long day. First day back to work after my summer break. 1) no sit down dinner. We were missing some ingredients, so we all agreed tomorrow instead. 0/4 2) yoga this morning, no workout. Back was extra sore/tight 2/12 3) Ellie walked. 5/28 4) chores done - not all well, but done 5/28
  18. Day 4 ... Mission complete 1). Dinner is planned for tomorrow.... Taco night. Should be able to cover everyone's needs. But tonight we're still 0/4. 2). Workout done. I hate starting, but I always love it once I get going. 2/12. 3). Ellie was walked....or rather I was walked by Ellie ;). She had so much energy when I got home, she did 5 or 6 speed runs around the lawn before we left. 4/28 4). Chores were done. I discovered that cleaning a toaster can be quite satisfying. Who'd a thunk? 4/28. night!
  19. recipes look yummy! Will have to try them out!
  20. You've got a lot on your plate. 10 goals! It sounds like you really know what you want, so keep at it. Progress not perfection, right? I'm cheering for you. Keep posting
  21. Sounds like a good plan . How's it going? I did something similar with the BWWW when I started. At first I could barely get through the warm up. Then I only did one rep of each exercise per circuit.... Worked my way up to the full routine by adding a rep or two each time. It took a while, but I got there. It's all about moving forward and getting a little better each time. Keep at it
  22. Keep at it! One bad morning isn't the whole 4 weeks! Do you have any breaks that you can do your meditation at work? I use my lunch break to take 10 minutes. Sometimes I use ear plugs or ear buds to keep other people from interrupting me. You'll find something that works
  23. Has there ever been a day that goes as planned? I have yet to experience one. Oh well, despite the wonky factor of my day, I managed to get things done... 1) still 0/4 regarding family dinner. Trying to motivate myself to make something very one would eat is a real struggle for me. If anyone has suggestions that will work for a vegan, a celiac, a picky eater, and a meat and potatoes man... I'm all ears! 2) did yoga today... But I'm still 1/12. 3). I didn't get home until after 8:00, but the first thing I did was walk right back out the door, or rather, I was pulled right back out the door by a very excited puppy! The walk was worth it despite the late hour. I got to see the sun set over the river, and two cranes flying overhead, and mountains in the backdrop. It was a nic way to finish a busy day. So that makes 3/28. 4) last but not least, all required chores were done. 3/28. Time for bed!
  24. day 2 (don't know why day one didn't save) 1) no family dinner tonight: 0/4 2) did my workout this morning: 1/12 3) walked Ellie after the hubs got home. I asked if anyone else wanted to come with me. That turned out to be a mixed blessing. I Liked the company, but they all wanted to walk slower..... Oh well. 2/28 4). Did my 3 daily chores (actually more) and my "today"item. I keep avoiding vacuuming, - probably because I hate my current vacuum cleaner. 2/28. Lol, now I'm bored, and trying to motivate myself to do something other than watch TV.
  25. I just respawnwed as well. Started the academy quests from scratch. Good luck. You've got very reasonable and specific goals.
