    Spring is here and I'm ready to feel alive again. It seems every spring I realize how much of a weight is lifted off when winter is finally over. My attitude instantly changes with the arrival of good weather and life blooming all around me. This is my first challenge and I've decided to keep it simple. I want to begin to create life long healthy habits. In the past I've always started on a health kick for a season and let it go. I enjoy the concept of the six-week challenges and have high hopes in finding success with them. P.S. Totally digging the Druid philosophy, I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone! So here are my goals... GOAL 1: Eat vegetables with every meal. * I really want to develop an appetite for vegetables. Eating them is usually out of obligation, but I would much prefer to look forward to eating them. Not them seasoned or covered in something but enjoy vegetables and their natural flavor profiles. GOAL 2: Drink water. * I drink water daily already, but I don't believe I drink enough. I heard a good rule of thumb was to divide your body weight in half and drink that much water in oz. GOAL 3: Walk up and down my road daily. * The first purpose of this goal is to incorporate some light exercise into my daily life. The second and I believe most important is to reap the benefits of fresh air and sunshine. This is going to be fun.
