  1. Hi! Sorry for having being away a while.. I just got back back into full-time job, and had a couple deadlines that held me working the evenings too I've been reading your progress and.. wow! I especially like how you cope with and adjust your workouts as you keep going. Up for the very last week!!
  2. Woah! Great job there, with the angry birds .)
  3. Wednesday: rest day. Thursday: I was supposed to get a medical exam at 17:30, but the doc had an emergency so I was examined at 20:00. I was done by 20:30, but was simply too late to come home, train and cook for Hubby.I just skipped the carbs. 2015/05/08 Angry Birds Workout Body Weight Squats: 50 in 2 sets - Level 2 passed Incline push ups: 20 in 2 sets - Level 2 passed Inverted rows: Level 2 failed, I still got work to do there! 4. I get all the time this "you're already thin, you don't need to diet" thing at work. Well, I am thin, but that does not mean I have to stuff my mouth with unhealthy treats made with unknown ingredients. Iceburner is right, if it happens all the time, is not a treat anymore. Good idea there, sitting with your fruit salad!! I sign in for the T-shirts, too, thanks. Something to put on my desk maybe, too?
  5. Happy anniversary, and good job!
  6. Woooah go for that, next challenge! I think it'll help also to keep thing fun and adding variety.
  7. Back to basics that's simpler, too. Don't stress too much about weigth, it could be some water and muscles (they are denser than fat).
  8. That kind of happened to me! I had an ice-cream after eating clean for some time and... I felt sick of it! It tasted like a disagreeable sugary taste all over my mouth. On the other hand I enjoyed so much the greek yogurt with berries.

    Ding! Mini4 Done
  10. Mini Quest 4: Ding! Ok, let's start: my primary goal was to rectify my life and follow doctor's orders not to smoke/drink/overeat, and undergo some medical exams to make a diagnostics. Done!, so I gladly put 3 points in CON. Adding a Body Weight workout three times a week while continuing running also three times a week surely guarantees a couple points in STR and STA. I still have three points to spare. I managed to do a crow pose (equilibrium improved!) and even if I were training harder and more often, I run faster (average pace March:5'29" April:5'23") therefore one point goes to DEX. I consider myself a little wiser as I followed doctor's orders and have an enhanced awareness of what I can do if I'm consistent, so another point goes to WIS. I wanted to put 2 points in WIS, but I told my husband about the lvling system and where I had decided to put my 10 hard-earned points. His answer: "and what about CHA? You're more pleasant and relaxed now that you're training and having fun doin' that! You must put at least a point there! Ah, and your.. well your ass has toned up. That does count right?" STR +2 DEX +1 STA +2 CON +3 WIS +1 CHA +1
  11. 2015/05/05 10km Run in 53'58" It was difficult, I had really sore legs and I came home late from work. But, hey, I run nevertheless!
  12. Progress! As for the seasoning.. we have a great rule here in the lab: "If you did it wrong, you did it. You can't fail what you don't do. So, please, do it."
  13. Amazing? How much time do you rest in-between the sets?

  15. Quite pleased?! I'd say good job! >Pat<
  16. Under 200 lbs, and counting Yeah sometimes is difficult to drink... try to do that anyways your body likes it! I guarantee
  17. It was indoor, and luckily: it was pouring buckets! I had a "plus" motivation to go rock climbing: the friends who came over have been doing that for a couple years. So we had a lot to talk about, and they gave me lots of advice and stretching tips.
  18. Heheh you're into rewards too ^.^ Yep, running in a shirt that has holes... is not funny at all! Good penalty
  19. Also, progress. Down 4 lbs total now, and another .5 off my waist. Just need 1 more lb and .5 more inches and I've met my (novice) goals. So, yay! Week 3, over. Level 1, obtained! Now to decided how to distribute my points! Go you! Great progress there Also, for the "spoiler" part, better one circuit (even knowing it will be disagreeable) than nothing at all!
  20. Yep! I agree with Achillessehne. Just take a look back where you started. It's not unbelievable what you did up to now? And, you're solidly in your 170s! Would you have believed that only 3 weeks ago?
  21. Voltaire's Candide, original version (French). I read it eons ago in my native tongue, but I was in high school and really didn't understand much. Now I grasp something more, and plus it helps improving my French.
