  1. When are we thinking of doing this? If it's out of term time, would it be worth a go asking the uni about hiring their unused halls too? I don't mind asking, but want to know what we all think first.

  3. Mostly water, I try to give myself daily water goals, normally three bottles and a glass as well as whatever green tea I'm drinking. 99% of the tea I drink is green or fruit teas. When I do have normal tea I have half a sugar in it (down from two heaped ones!) But I do let myself down at the weekends, but working in it. Used to be sugary liqueurs but now wine as I don't really long me the taste so I drink less.

  5. last year was my first year and I couldnt believe the cameradery that flows through the camps or how welcoming everyone was. It really is just such an amazing atmosphere! I am aware of the amounts of alcohol I will be drinking but have decided I will be drinking wine which is generally better and as I'm a general lightweight too, I wont need that much. I hadnt even thought of satsuma's as I dont normally eat them but that is a great idea!! I will have to do more hunting then! I normally discount the veggie areas, More hunting and maintenance of new viewpoint must be remembered. Normally I stay away from pits, I'm rather small and nervous about them. But 1 you make an awesome point and 2 they scare the shit out of me if im being totally honest and as Steve said do shit that scares you.. why not..? when I get back I will let you know how I get on! (plus we have more friends going this year so they can grab me if anything goes really wrong) Thank you very much Deftona,
  6. I used to say that about not going on a diet, for me it wasnt that I didnt wanna branch out or try something new, it was that I was scared shitless to fail at it. I am still not fully on a diet but I am calorie counting and trying to eat better. Also you said in your first post about cooking for the whole week, how did you get into that..? how do you keep things interesting..? Thank you for posting this, I have been looking at this wrongly, time for a change.
  7. I live in England. I love rock music, metal music and generally any music around those genre's.. was surprised by how much I like Hayseed Dixie but hey! Because of this love, I am going to the great Download Festival again (YAY!!!! I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! It's only 13 days and 2 exams away!!!!!!) and was wondering if anyone had any tips for eating in the arena area where you cant take in food or drink or just in general actually. I have breakfasts sorted with poridge in pots just add water and done, its just the rest of the day... and we will be cooking on a burner like thing not disposable BBQ's.. Any help is appreciated..
  8. Then it makes alot of sense, Im the othere end of the country literally! (Kent) and Id be able to get up there pretty simply. Plus I have family up there so it's a good excuse to come up and see them I'll have a nose too see if I can find anything.

  12. Thank you so much for all the advice, it's very different for me to feel like there are people who understand what I'm saying. It went in the bin without her knowing. After reading this, I think this is right on the money as I noticed a few bits of diet food packets around her desk for the last week or so. I am in the same kind of office, they are always around. There is one today so my bum is currently glued to my seat, if I cant see them I'm not tempted. I will keep the above in mind for if it happens again Thanks again, I do really appreciate it.

  14. I have recently noticed that I am not the only one feeding but I am the gatekeeper of my mouth. I confess I am, like a lot of us, can’t have just one biscuit. I have been sneaking them past myself by instead of sitting with one packet. I will eat biscuit one from packet one put it back.. Then eat biscuit 2 from packet 2... And so on. I have realised this, will be stopping this and counting every calorie. I NEED ADVICE though, I have just started a no cakes in the office rule at work. I'm not pushing it on anyone else. It's just me doing it. (The only chance of cake at a weekend is from my BF mum, it’s not very often and they are homemade beautifully and a good portion size of generally healthier cakes as she likes to cut out sugars) Day 1 of no cakes, my friend comes up and says she has bought in cakes. I said thanks but no, she responded with "o it's only a little one, it won’t hurt" I reaffirmed my no and she went away, I thought that would be the end of it. Half hour later she comes back and pops a suspicious sized thing wrapped in tissue on my desk. I complained to her about it as she walked away grinning. It is far away from me on my desk still and am currently not looking at it. I’m not feeling tempted by it either right now (which I’m happy about). I have also been told, "If you don’t pay for it, it's free calories" " close your eyes! If you can't see it, you can’t count it." .... all the normal ones I need advice on how to tell my work "mates" to take a long walk off a short pier and to take their ruddy cakes with them. My will power has been low lately but I can feel it getting stronger again as I haven’t eaten the cake and I can’t find a way to get rid or bin it without her knowing. Other than screaming at her or saying I can't be around you because you are the cake devil!! I don't know what to do, I have tried explaining what I’m trying to do and still more cake! Help!
  15. I've been reading NF for a while now but this is my first time posting and I'm really excited! About me..? Had quite a rough year last year, put on two stone, got it off again in August for a cousin's wedding, moved out of my parents in October and bang! just like Johnny here it is again! I have started a mini challenge based around the 6 week challenges, so look forward to taking on the next one seriously. My goals at the moment are to lose the weight and get down to around 119lbs, from around 130, then see how I feel in myself. Also and my main reason for coming here is I want strength. I have a serious lack of bodily strength so I plan to change that too (my first goal is the monkey bars, I help out at... https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/default.aspx?page=342 and am currently being up-staged by 5-7 year old girls) I can't wait to get involved and see what I'm actually capable of!!! Side note, love this -->
