  1. I love Zombies, Run Am mid S2 but have had the app for years, a big injury stopped me running but I've started again slowly now. I bought a tshirt, I'll post a pic later! Check this thread out too http://rebellion.nerdfitness.com/index.php?/topic/69068-zombies-run-thats-my-five/
  2. It's a pain, isn't it? I still have nerve damage which has left me with a numb foot two years on! Never mind. Have continued to be super careful with my back and have done more yoga designed for back pain. It is helping, but I want to avoid doing anything strenuous for a week or so. Not great for my challenge, so I'll have to concentrate even more on the other quests
  3. I've left the 30 days for now- hurt my back at work on Thursday and don't want to hurt it more. I have been doing her "yoga for back pain" half hour session though, and it's SO nice
  4. Had a bit of a disaster yesterday and hurt my back at work falling over a chair. Having herniated two discs a couple of years ago I'm super careful now, so this is frustrating. Had to take a day off wifi today, but I have done some targeted yoga for back pain which felt really good. So hopefully I'll get back tomorrow. Food-wise, still very much on track Budget starts tomorrow, £100 for the month is the target. I can do it!
  5. Three days in, my challenge is still going really well I've walked to work twice, done yoga every day (twice today!) and done the BBWW once yesterday. Food has been great, lots of fresh, zero white/refined carbs, no added sugar. Breakfast every day. My weigh ins are usually on Wed, and I'm 3lbs down since last week, 1lb for the purpose of the challenge. Feeling energetic and motivated
  6. Hi, thanks Lightning, I'll check the links out It's not a hard and fast rule for me, I've just wanted to do something about my diet for a long time and never actually got round to it. I recently bought a book that made a lot of sense to me in terms of not filling up on carbs like rice or potatoes or pasta just for the sake of it. I also suspect that I have a slight intolerance to something - white bread or pasta make me very ill the next morning. So I thought I'd just give "cleaner" eating a chance. And I'm totally loving it! Feeling so energetic and not sugar crashing
  7. No, I haven't signed up to the website yet. I think I will now, though
  8. Well I did day 7 thus morning before a dental appointment and it was hard work but I loved it. I've also just done a 40min beginner video because I was craving sons more yoga! Proud that I managed Hovering Cat I'm really enjoying this, and loving Adriene. So happy to have found it!
  9. My first challenge thread . : http://rebellion.nerdfitness.com/index.php?/topic/69056-first-challenge/
  10. oops, wrong post here :$
  11. Started well, day 5 of 30 day today done. Also walked to work - 2.08 miles and stood/walked all day. Apple watch is saying 6.7 miles total today I know the 2.08 miles is accurate but I'm not sure on the rest. Although I *was* standing and walking around for 9.5 hours straight at work. Hella day! Leftover chicken and salad for dinner, overnight oats and fruit for breakfast. A bit of dark chocolate for a treat.
  12. Hiya, I'm at S2 in the full app, using the cross trainer at the minute and building some fitness before attempting to run again. Also doing supply missions on the way to work. Although it didn't track this morning, grrrr.
  13. Today was a good Sunday. Started with almond pancakes, day 4 of 30 days of yoga, chilling, roast and BBWW x 4 circuits. Roast is my treat meal of the week, but I did cut the portion a little. Another 2lbs off this week, I think it would have been more without the hotel stay.
  14. Thanks! It was really interesting. Basically made in exactly the same way as normal risotto, but took a little longer. Used half coconut milk and half stock, which made it quite creamy and rich. Texturally I didn't notice too much difference to rice, but I do have braces at the moment and judging texture isn't my forte!
  15. Thank you! Nerd Fitness Yoga sounds interesting, I love the body weight workout
  16. Thanks for the warning I loved day four, very stretchy!
  17. Hi everyone, I've been posting a little for a couple of months but I'm ready to commit Main goal: lose 12lbs over the six weeks Targets to get me there: walk to work at least three times per week Do BBWW three times per week Complete 30 day yoga challenge (today was day 3) Eat breakfast every day - Bircher oats, chia pudding, almond pancakes etc. no bread/cereal Life quest: stick to £100 monthly spending budget, so £150 for the length of the challenge. Also, my smaller jeans will probably fit! A pass will be losing 12lbs or more and having spent £150 or less
  18. I started doing the 30 day yoga programme on YouTube by yogawithadriene 3 days ago and I'm loving it so much. It seems to go well with other exercise (I've done the yoga straight after a couple of times) and she's a really friendly instructor. Recommended!
  19. 20 minutes of random fitness from fitnessblender filled by 25 minutes of yoga. Found a 30 days of yoga program on yogawithadriene and I LOVE it. I haven't done yoga for 18 months since I popped two discs in my spine and ended up on crutches and having a steroid injection. Been too scared. But I'm being really careful and getting fit in other ways too. Feeling really great. Plan is to do the yoga every day, BBWW every other day and walking/random stuff on the other days. I've had an energy boom having changed my diet. Drastically cut down on sugars and "white" carbs and grains. I did have a couple of cookies yesterday but that's ok
  20. Rocket League (free on PS+) is a huge amount of fun
  21. Feeling really good today. Did half an hour of exercise (lots of jumping) and then a little later did half an hour of yoga. Tried Buckwheat risotto for dinner and really liked it. Not weighing in, but I'm feeling good and happy about what I'm doing
  22. Had a stressful week with a work trip etc and bought rubbish food. BUT, I didn't eat it Feeling the victory there. Have a few days off now and I'm intending on braving up and going for a little run, as well as doing the BBWW later. Come onnnnnn. Have so many clothes so close to fitting!
