  1. Am I the only one who hears the Legend of Zelda treasure chest music whenever they read about someone leveling up? Anyway you're doing great keep it up
  2. In non fitness nerd news, I just ordered all the parts to a build my very first gaming PC and they arrived today. Hope I can get this together without too much of a problem.
  3. Yeah nothing wrong with easing back in, as long as you get back in. You're going to be fine
  4. I could be wrong but A, this is all just for fun anyway, and B, I think your first level at least establishes your baseline, and future levels are where you can beat yourself if you fall short on your challenge goals.
  5. Also, got to level up. I'll start with Adventurer. I'll probably hit their guild for the next challenge before getting ready to decide on where to go from there for challenge 3 and beyond. Eventually I'll be a cyborg ninja. A ninja because that should be obvious and cyborg, well I grew up a wrestling fan and you can never go wrong watching "The Cyborg" Kurt Angle put on a match. Stat distribution: Str: 2. I've been lifting weights on and off for awhile now so I should at least have some base level of strength Dex: 1. I have horrible motor skills Sta: 1. I have to stop half way through my lunch walk and rest a minute. I can't run more than like 2 minutes at a time without needing to walk. Got a long way to go here to get to my goal of finishing a 5k Con: 3. If this is you're ability to resist damage and disease, well I'm fine here. I seem to have a great immune system and I avoid serious injury pretty well through my life Wis: 2. Well I am a nerd right? Cha: 1. Hopefully losing weight and getting in better shape will help me here as well.

  7. Thanks for all the support Arya! Challenge day 21. I told myself on the first of every month will take progress pics, so I need to put up last months and then take one tonight when I get home. Diet 1900 calories 39% protein 27% fat 34% carbs with 186g of protein. This is more like it. Need more days like this. Lunch walk done, hte summer makes this a bitch as I'm sweating up a storm when I get done in the heat. Workout- Front squats just aren't working out for me, leg wise I'm fine but the grip, especially as I start putting weight on the bar just feels too weird. leg curl machine- 40x20 60x12 80x6 DB shoulder press 35x15 40x12 50x4 rear delt flies 30x12 35x8 ​40x6

Thanks for dropping by ARya Challenge days 18, 19 and 20 day 18 Went out to lunch Friday with coworkers, but went to a sushi place and beef and chicken teriyaki so damage from that should be limited. GF made hamburgers for dinner which I wasn't thrilled about, I'll estimate another 2500 calorie day. WOrked out, but it was a shit workout. Day 19. Weighed in at just a hair under 240, so down another pound+, and 10 overall, though it's slowing down lately to a pound a week or so, which is still progress at least. Ate out, but it was all Asian food, so I ate a lot of meat and rice. Went to see Chris Titus, and it was hilarious, and had some drinks with that. Day 20 about 1800 calories. Down 5 pounds overall for the challenge, and it looks like I get to level up today as we are now 3 weeks in.... This will be tough, gonna have a long weekend and it will be hard

  13. Challenge day 17 Diet 2080 calories 24% carbs 36% fat 40% protein Getting better I suppose with the macros. I eat too much meat. Tried to make rice in the rice cooker thing, it came out nasty. Guess I'll get the gf to show me how she does it. Had beans instead. Lunch walk done No gym as I got battery replaced. Car started right up like a champ this morning so this little saga should be behind me.

  15. Thanks arya! Challenge day 16 Diet 2320 calories. Ate way too much meat. Need to cut down and make sure I have something else with it lunch walk done No workout, and probably won't be one today either. I left the overhead light on in my car Saturday night, didn't use it Sunday, battery was dead Monday morning. Got a jump from a neighbor and made to work and the gym fine. Car barely started yesterday morning and when I left work. Went to Autozone, the guy said the battery seems to hold a charge so see what happens tomorrow. Well when I left for work the car barely started again, so I figure I should take no chances and just head back and get the battery swapped. Battery is around 5 years old at this point.
