  1. Thanks for the replies so far guys, I did end up taking some before pictures yesterday, so I'll have that as a reference point in the future. I'll try to take one or two every six weeks from this point out. First update- Two days in so far, going well. On my first day I did the advanced body weight workout from the website, just to see how I did. It was hard, but not impossible, so I'll probably try to do that for my workout days unless I can find or someone can suggest something. For Abs yesterday I did 8 minute abs because who doesn't love corny 80's workout videos? For now, I'll keep on truckin' on.
  2. I certainly could do that. I have more of those than I'm comfortable admiting, just for the sake of the joke.
  3. I've been lurking for a little while, and even though I'm a bit late for the current challenge, I figured I would at least start out with a basic challenge in preperation for the next cycle. Background info- I'm a 19 year old male finishing up my first year of college. I'm in pretty decent shape already, but I don't work out nearly as much as I'd like to, both in strength and agility, so I decided it would be good to give myself some defined goals and accountability. So here I am. Anyhoo, for the next 6 week challenge, I'm planning to roll with the assassins since that's where my interests and strengths lie, so my quests will be focusing around improving strengths and skills for that area. Main Quest- Do bodyweight strength work at least every other day, so 3-4 days a week. I'll start with fairly low intenstity stuff and probably dial it up until the start of the next 6 week challenge, at which point I'll be fully geared up and ready to go. Side Quest #1- Abs every day, no exceptions. I've really let my core go and its time to get them back to peak capacity. On my strength workout days, I'll encorperate it into that. Side Quest #2- Go rock climbing at least once a week. I enjoy it, want to get better at it, and it fits in with my goals. Main Quest optional objective- I really want to get past the mental block that prevents me from doing a front flip. Work on doing this on pads until I feel comfortable on a hard surface. I'll try to post with updates as often as I can, hopefully at least bi-daily. -As a side note, should I include before pictures for additional accountability? Never done before pictures before, but it seems like a useful concept.
