  1. Welcome! Nice area ya got over there.
  2. Hey there, cheetah! Part time Terre Haute and part time Speedway resident here.
  3. Yeah, file is too big, so just put link to it on my google drive.
  4. Oops, photo link doesn't look right in original post. Progress photo
  5. Don't remember ever being below 180. Obviously I was as a kid, but you get it. Woohoo! That's down from 315 about two years ago, baby!
  6. I'd consider it for sure. What wave would you all be shooting for?
  7. Hey, Terre Haute here, but willing to travel for a hike or run or food, etc... I'll use any excuse to meet up with some nerds. Weather is getting nice, maybe Hoosier National?
  8. So, now that the weather is getting better, when is the Hoosier meetup? I'd be up for a group hike, climb or kayak trip.
  9. This is definitely one of the biggest obstacles for me. Running right now with a couple guys with no kids. Their like, "hey, how about we add on another mile," and I'm like, "if you can do it in 6 minutes 'cause kids."
  10. Never thought of the breathing cadence. I am pretty intense about maintaining a specific breathing cadence. I try to massage and stretch my calves. Will check into the potassium issue as well. Thanks
  11. Looking for tips to ward off cramps. Been running for about 8 months and increasing distance. Having a pretty regular problem with cramps in my calves (usually left leg for whatever reason) around mile 11 or 12. No problems on shorter, more intense runs like 5 or 10k. Any thoughts? Is this hydration, sodium?
  12. I'm the same way. I always have such a hard time slightly inconveniencing anyone or even giving the perception of it. Makes me want to run the other way.
  13. Heat is tough-definitely slows me down, but the strain is definitely one of the physical benefits of running and you don't want to completely eliminate that. Definitely agree with Dilnad. I give in much quicker on a treadmill or a track. Not much choice if you're 3 miles down the trail. Don't suppose you could bribe a friend to run with you for safety, or even if they were willing to ride a bike.
