  1. That's a great course map. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  2. Hey Captain. Thanks for taking the time to catch up. You might be right about the center of gravity, but whatever it is I need to get stronger to work against it. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  3. 8 days since my last update, whoops. I've missed a couple of Days over the past week, but did manage a workout on Saturday and chinups last night. Motivation has been low this challenge, and I think that's to do with having such a vague plan, so I'm going to try and think a bit more this week about what I want to get out of the next 5 weeks. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  4. Sounds like a great break. I can't imagine a 12 hour drive, and I suppose being America, 90% of that was in one straight line too ! The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  5. Sorry about the knee. Those dryrobes do look comfy. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  6. Getting outside is always a tonic. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  7. I never thought of trying the light ones as I want the calories . I use tricarb powder or high 4:1 in my water. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  8. Another downvote for lucozade. I found it too sickly to drink during exercise. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  9. Well done Mr Willes, sounds like you Conquered thay course (apart from the cramps at the end) The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  10. Sorry to hear about your week Def, hope it gets sorted soon The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  11. I can't believe I almost forgot. We went to a local park that was very good for pokemon, both yesterday and today. And we got my oldest son riding a bike ! He's very pleased with himself, but not as proud as we are ! The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  12. Did a sort of half workout today. Did ok. Tomorrow is a big day though, kids first day back at school. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.

  14. Haven't done v well latter half of this week. I forced myself to get chinups in on Thursday, and did about a 15 minute Workout yesterday. Motivation is lacking in our house at the moment. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.

  18. It really was a miracle. Apparently the neighbour's heard her. Who knew rabbits could make a noise !? The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  19. A bit of a stressful night last night so no exercise got done. We went out to eat and then got phoned by our neighbours who had rescued a rabbit from the jaws of a fox (our rabbit). Miraculously we found the other one hid behind a wall, and a quick trip to the vet and toothpaste seems ok - apart from a little chunk out of her ear, bless her. We've moved their hutch inside for now though. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  20. So you can go less cushiony, not more. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  21. That is some serious consumer debt. Well done for getting that all cleared. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  22. Thanks guys but don't get too excited. I can't go right down yet, this is the second step on my stairs. I'm also still on the progression where you hold a weight in front of you while doing it, which surprises makes it easier (I think because you're tipping yourself forward which gets the upward motion started ) The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  23. Did a mini workout last night. Managed 3x4 one legged squats from the second step (in our house) Which I was pretty pleased with . The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
