  1. Yeah NF birthday cycle !! The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  2. Hi guys, thanks for the support. This is kind of a cool down challenge but I want to make sure I do keep up with something. He's 8 bless him, so really should be able to ride a bike. He's not hugely interested and gets frustrated, but I think with a bit of support he should get it - and that's meant to be my job. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  3. New Challenge : http://rebellion.nerdfitness.com/index.php?/topic/87383-SkinNBones-Birthday-Challenge, A bit belated , I'll add it to my signature when I'm next on a pc. The wisdom of age: don't stop walking.
  4. [ Reserved for Tracking] Having just finished a sort of strict 12 week program I'm going to just try and fit 3 workouts a week now with a little more flexibility. I'll stick to chinups on 'off' days and sort if follow my bodyweight progressions on workout days . I'm also going to also add in one run a week to help with basketball fitness . Life goal : get my oldest son riding a bike. Bike : RESULT ! Run Distance : 5 Chin ups : 8,7,7 Pushups 3rd step : 5 5 5 (2) Diamond Pikes , bottom rung :3x4

  6. I was struggling for a theme on this one so, given its my birthday this cycle, I decided to make it a party !!! They are us.
  7. Ok , brief challenge wrap up. I haven't even done measurements this time around. With jumping I found I could get a solid grab of the rim (basketball hoop) which is an improvement on last year but only really back to how Hugh I could jump as a teenager. I did ok sticking to my goals this cycle and even managed one window so I'll call this a B and I get to level up. They are us.
  8. 1120 is ridiculous . It is always hard to actually confront these people though. They are us.
  9. Thay snack box sounds great , but it does seem to involve a lot of planning, and maths. I wish someone would just make one for me. They are us.
  10. I noticed because we were in Norfolk, the county that Vodafone forgot. They are us.
  11. Hi, I'm still here. Will try and get a new Challenge and Wrap up done today, will hopefully be able to test my jump at training tonight, which will make a nice end to the 12 weeks (kind of expecting modest improvement, but probably will be a bit disapointed ...) The Subway5k is a good family race. It went really well too. Our oldest manage to run/jog a fair bit of it with me (finishing in about 40 minutes) and our yougest (who is now 5) actually finished the whole race under her own power. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon walking through the olypmic park. It has several pretty cool play areas in it now. Thanks Xena, I'm going to keep this 7 minute app on my phone for future, I think it was pretty good. One annoying thing was that the app actually needs an internet connection to work. Which is pretty crazy considering it's basically just a metronome and a few pictures.
  12. Hey jedi ! I never realised quite how busy you were. They are us.
