  1. 10 mins cardio on elliptical 3x15 leg curls 3x15 bicep curls additional 10 mins cardio on elliptical
  2. Whomp, whomp. Just a quick update to note that I haven't been in the gym in a while but am finally getting inspired to go again.
  3. Aah, i've been moving and only have internet at work so i'll have to do a more comprehensive update later. To be accountable, I went on: 8/30 10/6 10/8 10/13 1hr sessions each time, alternating arms, legs and core. Im still severely lacking in core strength...just generally in strength but i've made progress and that's all that matters to me right now.
  4. I am back from my hiatus! I was having a lot of back pain and decided to do something i've wanted to do since I was a teen, I got a breast reduction. They took out 3lbs of tissue and my back pain is completely gone. I've been in recovery from that and went back to the gym last Thursday, the 27th. 3x15 weighted squats (10lbs) 3x15 lifting a weighted ball from a sitting position 3x15 lay on back, legs on ball, roll ball under you with heels 3x15 lay on back, legs on ball, tighten ab muscles, relax, repeat I went back today: 3x15 seated cable row (15lbs) 3x15 pulling weight via cable machine, arms out, to center 3x15 pulling weight via cable machine, both hands on one cable, turning at hips, to shoulder opposite of arm I was using to pull I really need to learn exercise names.
  5. Is anyone looking forward to No Man's Sky? One of the main reasons I love skyrim is because you can explore and do tons of side quests and cave runs...it's all up to you. So No Man's Sky is an exciting prospect to me.
  6. Update -- Saw the rheumatologist today. While I do not have arthritis (phew!) he confirmed that I do have mild scoliosis but that can be dealt with. So, to recap: In May I injured my arm, tore the bicep muscle and swelled up like popeye. In the following time i've had terrible back and neck pain and high cpk levels (2800). Several rounds of bloodwork and xrays later I have a big ol' "Well we don't know whats wrong with you but you don't have xyz". I am currently taking lortab for pain management and have been referred to a physical therapist for my back and neck. I am going to sign back up with my old personal trainer Hiromi and work with her on a diet and gentle exercise plan so I can continue to be healthy without further aggravating my back. *note: high cpk are consistent with muscle injury but not with the back and neck pain thus the rheumatologist referral.
  7. I saw another doctor last night and was prescribed lortab for pain management and an anti-inflammatory. So far today I feel great, no pain, so I will go to my regular gym session and take it easy. It's a bit frustrating. I don't want to take it easy. I want to do better, be better, get stronger. I understand that if I don't rest that I might make it worse too. I'm trying to find the balance between not doing anything and doing too much while i'm injured. Thanks for the support!
  8. I've been going to the doctors for lower back pain this past month and am seeing a specialist next month, so my posting may be slow/delayed until I have an answer to my problem. :c

  10. It is certainly a balancing act. As is any enjoyable hobby. Especially with a game as story and content heavy as WoW. It's not something you can just cruise through in a few hours. It can become almost routine, getting on once a night to play for a few hours, and even more-so if you have a raid schedule. The well organized person can handle that easily but i've never been well organized and found myself feeling like I was too far behind gear level wise and couldn't put in the time required to be progression raiding anymore. Now, when my sub is active, I get on to enjoy older content and maybe make some progress on my main...but realistically I can't be a good as I want because I do have responsibilities I have to put first. No shame in that :3
  11. Girl on Guy (Aisha Tyler) Doug Loves Movies Good Mythical Morning Harmontown Planet Money Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project Ted Talks The Smartest Man in the World (Greg Proops) WTF with Marc Maron The Tod Glass Show BBC Discovery Those are the ones currently in my podcast rotation. I like to listen to podcasts during work, it helps me focus whereas music can be distracting.
  12. Hello! I'm currently taking a break from WoW, but here is is a list of my alts: Cleatorus the Crazy Cat Lady (Main) 100 Draenei Frost DK http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/proudmoore/Cleatorus/advanced Ignore my non-matchng gear. I usually have it transmogrified to the Magma Plated Battle Armor Prìestiality the Patient 92 Gnome Holy Preist http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/proudmoore/Pr%C3%ACestiality/advanced Kessler 90 Worgen Beast Master Hunter http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/proudmoore/Kessl%C3%ABr/advanced Kessler is solely for collection purposes, so farming pets/mounts/gear. I have to say that after MoP I was really impressed with WoD. I love the garrison stuff (well, except for it being never ending and almost chore-like), the awesome new world with all of it's hidden surprises, and the new/revamped dungeons/raids are fantastic. That said, it's felt so grindy and boring lately that i've decided to take a break indefinitely.
  13. Currently I am playing: Hearthstone, Transistor, Minecraft, WoW, Skyrim, and this cute mobile game Hunger Quest for funsies. Did anyone else play Pokemon Alpha Sapphire? What did you think about it compared to Pokemon X/Y?
  14. Hi! This week it has been three songs: Can't Feel My Face by The Weekend Bang Bang by Monophonics: Cheerleader by OMI: Bonus:Third Stone from The Sun/ If You Love Me Like You Say- Gary Clark Jr
  15. I have not seen a whole lot of bands live, mostly DnB artists, but I recently went to see RUSH during their R40 tour and that was an AMAZING show. I'm still thinking about it.
