  1. I’ve been pretty consistent with working out lately, however I’m starting a night-shift job soon and I’m worried I’ll start slipping out of my workout routine. I need to make sure to set a consistent schedule in terms of exercise as well as with sleeping. At this point I’m not sure what schedule is going to work best for me, so I’ll need to experiment with that. Also, my new job is a relatively physical job, so my appetite is definitely going to go up, and I need to make sure I keep making healthy food choices. Exercise Goal - Working towards my ideal physique Continue with Glute Lab exercise program (work out 4 days per week) Do stretches 3 days per week Food Goal - Making good choices Choose a “healthier” option at every meal (whole grain instead of white bread, grilled instead of fried, etc.) Include one serving of fruits, vegetables, or nuts with every meal Three “cheat” meals per week Avoid snacking Lifestyle Goal - Sleep Get 8 hours of sleep daily Go to sleep at a consistent time every day, even on days I don’t have work
  2. ...And here it finally is, my first post. 😃 Somehow I discovered this site (again), went to make an account, and turns out I already had one! So I decided that I'm going to make a new spawn point and try to actually participate in the community this time. About me, I'm a 26-year-old woman, and I haven't really been in great shape ever since I graduated from high school and stopped taking dance lessons. I also put on weight during lockdown and have had trouble losing it. My goal is to get to a healthy BMI, put on some muscle, and increase my flexibility. Besides just being more healthy, one of my main motivations is that I want to get into cosplay some day, and I want to look amazing in cosplays of strong women from video games and anime (like Chun-Li or Jolyne Cujoh). For the past month I have been consistently doing the Glute Lab program by Bret Contreras (on the Novice difficulty) and I am proud that I have stuck with it thus far. I hope this community inspires me to keep leveling up and hopefully make some friends along the way!
