  1. I'm going to fill this thread with dad jokes and it will be...
  2. Man, I need to sit next to you on my next international flight. Sooth me right to sleep.
  3. I had a DM that did this to me every session for 6 months. I played a Extra tanky barbarian. He eventually gave up. 3 things. 1. Congratulations. Dad life is the best. 2. Get Wonder weeks (at least the app) it will help you track mental growth up to 2~ and give you some peace of mind when tinytank suddenly gets grumpy for no apparent reason. 3. A guys goes to a zoo. There's one dog in the whole zoo. It's a real shitzu.
  4. It's why I live in So Cal. Nafanua is a legit badass. I'd much have preferred her to the nonsensical, albeit enjoyable, Moana.
  5. It's all about choices, TBF, I'm at the early end of the generation, so it's not unreasonable that you forgot. I don't think I will ever be accused of getting #lit though. I did not run yesterday, im mildly phlegmy and have a cough, and since I currently do not have insurance, or sick time, I would like to minimize the potential health damage I can do. So I will probably chill the rest of the week just to be on the safe side.
  6. You can have mine, basically the same thing
  7. Yea, yea. I missed you guys too.
  8. Are you sure it's just not desserts as a whole you're willing to defend with your life? Also I did NOT come back to this forum just to have that kind of language directed at me.
  9. I just wanted to share that last night I overate on sushi and then did a 30 minute mobility and flexibility routine. I am at one with my millenialness.
  10. To be perfectly honest... She's not wrong.
  11. It even has actual pumpkin puree. Good on HEB.
  12. You know, I've never had a mush libby's made pumpkin pie, you might be on to something.
  13. I'm also of the opinion that pumpkin should be a primarily savory item. There's a reason most gourds/squashes aren't primarily a dessert thing. And I think that extends to pumpkin as well. Pumpkin spice hasn't had anything to do with pumpkin properly since the 1950s, when we started to get lazy about our measurements. Pumpkin Pie is a middling dessert at best, even made properly. I like it, but it will never be my first option for dessert, and I think most people are on that particular train. For the record, anything with bacon immediately provides it an unfair advantage and should not be included in a traditionally autumnal conversation. As I mentioned earlier, it didn't become divorced from pumpkin until McCormick figured out how to monetize it in the 50s. And it became ridiculous in the 60s when they dropped pie from the title (IMO they should have dropped pumpkin, because these particular spices are well suited to many a pie.) 1995 is where things begin to go off the rails. ( I did some research on the history, in case you weren't sure)A store in Santa Fe, NM first introduced the pumpkin spice candle and a florida magazine suggested adding it to cream of sweet potato soup (the south is haven of flavor offenders) Pumpkin spice coffee (actual coffee brewed with the spices, not the starbucks nonsense) is very good, and I will posit that if you say you don't like it, you haven't tried it. I have no arguments for the Spam. It's a travesty.
  14. All these good things happening and this is the one I'm gonna linger on.
  15. I come visit your challenge and get personally attacked. Yeesh! Definitely not. Everytime I do them I have flashbacks to AIT and curl up in a tiny ball for a moment.
  16. Return of the Super Veteran. Welcome back my dude.
  17. Then you've never had properly cooked pumpkin pie. It should just be crusting on the top, and smooth in the middle without feeling like baby food. Also, pumpkin cheesecake is best cheesecake. I am prepared to die on this hill.
  18. I totally missed it the first time too. Dang. Elite Four. And the Pokemon Champion. Of course. You are absolutely killing it and I'm glad to have been able to follow along on much of your journey.
  19. I. Would. Never. Good to know you missed me. Your current sleep is excellent. Sounds like last week was a travesty and it's eerily similar to my last couple of weeks. Podcasts and audiobooks my dude. Lifesaver when I was commuting that far. I don't think we can overstate this level of accomplishment. I am working on year 6 in my house and still have unpacked boxes.
  20. Those have been dialed in for years. I'm not a runner, but I still spent 6 months not lifting and training for L.A. marathon, so it's still a very real point of contention for me. But that spotify student discount though! Sounds like you're on an adventure. >_> Glad to have you here, I've wandered many of the guilds and keep coming back here. I just like lifting too much to have it take a back burner to any other fitness style in the long run.
  21. Sounds like you have a quantifiable goal there. Tracking how much food you make, vs how much you eat, vs how much you should eat. Don't beat yourself up over numbers, make this analytical only. Keep a log, a tally, hash marks on your wife, whatever works.
  22. Main post is updated with goals.
  23. BRB, editing my post A little weird. A little beard. It's not as bad as if I had been RA though. (im still running a little bit)
