  1. Did 2 chinups with no assistance. I'm thinking next week i push past 245 squat max and 255 deadlift max. Everyone try and eat healthy over the long weekend.
  2. Haven't been posting much because my promotion at work keeps me busy plus new hours. But today a big woot. I had to take about 2 weeks off of lifting because basically everyone in my house was sick. Wife, me, kid, dog were all ill. After getting back into it i changed up my routine. I hadn't seen any results until today when i went from a max of 145 bench for 2 reps to 175 for 2 reps. I have no idea what happened but i was pretty jacked up.

  4. My Y is starting to do some crossfit classes over the summer. They have hired someone to teach it. It will be included in my monthly dues. Since my work reimburses me for my Y membership i will start going then. Until then, we only have one box here and its $150 a month for unlimited classes. But the classes are so packed at all hours of the day that the great attention you used to get is gone.

  6. Congrats!!! Numbers on a scale have slowed down on me too. But all my clothes are loser and went from a 42-44 jeans to a 36-38 in course of 3months. I ignore the scale and go by full body mirror camera shots and if your gym has a trainer with a body fat tester use that. Once again <internet high five>
  7. We did a Biggest Loser contest at work and i got 3rd place. Won $50. Dropped almost 9lb in 8 weeks. More important is that my bf% is getting lower as well. Plus today 5reps of 255lb on regular squat( yes i got low ) Awesome day today. Ready for the next contest
  8. No PR's today. Just doing high reps today. Only cool thing was doing 12 reps of 135 on incline bench for 2 sets.
  9. New WOOT!! Did a strict 5x5 with deadlifts and squats today and 2 prs.....250 on deadlift, 260 on squats.
  10. Not likely at this job....but I'm happily employed and they are paying for me to get A+, Network + and Microsoft training. Plus I get to be on nerdfitness at work and watch ESPN, you know to make sure the cable feed stays solid.

  12. The crockpot is an awesome tool! I use mine once a week for at least 3-4 meals. Good luck on the lifting!!! Just go slow at first and ease into deadlifts and squats. Get your form good first
  13. I just take my 2 scoops in my shaker and fill it up with water at the gym and down it right there. Most things i read say to drink it within 30min of workout. Oh and since everyone is sharing i'm using the Body Fortress Vanilla from Walmart. So far so good.

  15. New update! PR DEADLIFT of 250 X 5. What a rush it was!!
  16. Quick update. weigh 244. Goal of 200. Weight loss has slowed but losing a lot of belly fat which sucks because i keep forgetting to fix my leather belts. All of mine don't have enough holes. When i first started on here, i could barely bench 135 once, today did it 12x. And my deadlift is now 245 for 5 reps.

  18. Way to go!!!! I did 5reps of 245lb on deadlift yesterday. Unfortunately forgot to take off my wedding ring. So, yea, that hurt
  19. Congrats to you! I've had to punch holes in 2 of my leather belts and getting ready to do it again!
  20. My wife and I workout and different times. Happy wife = happy life.
  21. Way to go!! I got 235 x 5 today for a new PR.
