  1. Job interview went very well and my weight was down to 250.3. A good day. Looks like I am back on track.
  2. Taking them to soccer. Final game for my high school senior Job interview tonight ... one small (or big) possible tweak in my total picture.
  3. Thanks. Good day on Saturday and today thus far. Got to spin. Had my one beer as a treat. Off to soccer with the kids and haven't binged today.
  4. That sleep goal is inspiring. I might have to incorporate that into my next challenge.
  5. I like the idea of keeping multiple stats. That's a really great way to see progress. Keep up the good work!
  6. Thanks. Got to Golds this morning; lifted, ran, and did a spin class. Gonna have my one beer tonight; a Founders Oatmeal Breakfast Stout, not really a summer beer, but it is my favorite.
  7. Feeling like I'm back on track. Even though I didn't want to I got out of bed before 5 and got to the gym for spin class. I also brought some high protein snack items to work to keep me from hitting the salty carbs we have in stock here.
  8. A great deal of my weight fluctuation (between 235 and 335 as an adult) has to do with stress and momentum. When I'm good I'm good. When I'm bad I'm bad.
  9. Hi all, I had a little continuation of my slip as the challenge started. Weighed in at 255 this morning. Today has been a good day. Got to spin this morning, had a reasonable lunch and snack, and will soone be home for dinner and some lifting. Best to all, Shawn

  11. I learned a lot with my last two rounds and hope to stick to those rules and maybe expand on them as needed. No gluten Limit those desserts Go to spin class often I received a gift of 9 cross fit sessions. I might have to use those during this spell as well.
  12. I really like my original strategy and will go back to it: 1. Cut out gluten except for one beer per week.2. Severely limit desserts.3. Breakfast of two eggs and toast or oatmeal and nuts.4. Light lunch with protein.5. Light snack with protein.6. One serving dinner.7. Workout more and with more intensity.8. Lift more.9. Core and stretch each evening.10. Walk dog most evenings.11. Meditate 10 minutes most days.12. Sleep well and with my cpap.
  13. Goals: I now weigh 253 pounds. I will loose 23 pounds by July 19. On July 4, 2014 I ran 8 miles in 1 hour 45 minutes. This July 4 I will run it in under 1 hour 30 minutes. Each week I will clean the bathrooms (including the tubs and shower curtains).
