  1. I return after a pregnancy hiatus! My wee boy was born 2 weeks ago and is fitting in nicely with the other 3 hobbits. I had a wonderful labour and delivery and am feeling back to normal and ready to tackle my health and fitness with renewed vigour. I managed to weigh less after giving birth than I did at the beginning of my pregnancy so there's 5kg I don't have to worry about! I'm looking forward to reacquainting myself with the forums and getting into the next challenge.
  2. I will just hit some low intensity stuff, I think. I'm sure it's going to be fine. I'll go to the Dr and get all the warnings about GD and blah blah anyway. With my last child she suggested that I could lose weight while being pregnant and it not harm bubs so I'll just go slower and steadier. And thanks for the congrats. This is a total shock to us considering it took us over 2 years to conceive our last child. 2yrs and 3mos to be exact. The most painful 2 years of my life. I honestly can't believe this is happening.
  3. So week 1 was a blow out. Didn't lose, didn't gain... no exercise, low energy and totally blah. Then today, I find something out that throws a total spanner in the works. I got a positive pregnancy test.... Ooops. Was not trying at all, was happy with our 3 kids, my youngest I thought was a great contraception but nope, up the duff. Quietly freaking out about now. Will keep you all updated. Some of my goals have changed, the dress is further out of reach. I'll still be exercising and eating healthy though. I don't need gestational diabetes and to be 120kg 9mos pregnant. My body wouldn't survive. Yep all of the above. Cupcake xx
  4. Thanks! Your comment about walking to get my chocolate that would be a 24km round trip for me! I would have well and truly walked those calories off by the end!! I'm trying to go low carb and I thought I was doing ok but I might have a good look at my meal plan and see what I can tweak Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks so much for coming in! @Rurik - My style is more pin up than hipster, think victory rolls and winged eyeliner! I'll be sure to pop in and say hi!! @Tiger - welcome to the highs and lows and trials and tribulations of my challenge!! So I have been struggling today. 1900 calories and I'm so freaking HANGRY!!! Also there's no chocolate in the house. Which I guess is a good thing lol Onwards and upwards tomorrow! Going to aim for a workout and fill up on water. If you are losing weight how do you cope with being hungry? Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
  6. Been an up and down weekend this weekend. Went to town yesterday and got a new phone (yay Galaxy S6) and had McDonald's (YUM). Today I was on the job though and ate under my calorie goal of 1900 cals. There was plenty of protein, fruits and vegetables so I'm pretty happy with what I'm classing as DAY 1, of the challenge! On Monday's to do list is: A NF bodyweight exercise circuitcontinue with the healthy eating menu plan I set updrink more waterclean my roomHope everyone had a great weekend!
  7. Thanks for stopping by! @Sundae I was into vintage for ages before I actually started dressing that way a couple of years ago. Since my weight has ballooned 10kg since then I'm more frumpy than fabulous. I don't have many vintage clothes, a skirt and a few dresses, since the option for plus size is quite limited and expensive. I do own hats and hand bags though! My ultimate aim is a size 12 Wheels and Dollbaby wiggle dress.... Those things are unforgiving but I really want one! @Luciana I do have measurements in an app I'm using, they are approximate measurements since I took them myself. I will double check them today and update accordingly. I am on MFP, I'm just not using it to its full potential right now. I use it to calculate how many calories are in a meal I've made but I don't want to be obsessed by it (been there and done that). I will probably start using it more frequently during the challenge but as long as I'm keeping under 1900-2000cals I'll be pretty pleased.
  8. Eeep I keep getting an error when I try and load the forums. I think I broke the internet D:

    1. Ilham

      Ilham

I don't see a pic of you with your ass all oiled up... yet?

  9. I'm trying to talk the husband into getting me a hay bale.. not having much luck at the moment!
  10. F*Yeah ROLLER DERBY!!! Let's be friends! XD I so want to find a team close by. But I'm thinking my closest is probably an hour away *sad face*
  11. I'm just going to put it out there... Mountain Climbers kick my ass..... Good job this week, can't wait to see what you actually do in the challenge!
  12. Weigh in as of today 23/7 111.4kg, I'm down roughly 2kg from when I started! This is also just from taking small manageable steps to change my lifestyle (portion control mainly and adding in some exercise). From this my husband would say "Well imagine what you could do if you put in X amount of effort".... yep and then like I always do I'd go in too hard, too soon and burn myself out which would mean I'd be back to square one again.... Hence the reason that for once I'm not relying on him for support this time. He can eat all the crap and not exercise all he wants but I'm choosing a different path. He likes to hand out the advice to me, but never once uses it for himself. This time I'm going to be the tortoise and not the hare.....
  13. Weight went down this last week or so! As of this morning I'm 111.4kg... I'll update my original post to reflect this
  14. @Alocin - I've been hanging out for it even before we moved to WA 3.5 years ago lol (moved back to NSW in Jan this year). I was on the Facebook page too! It just annoyed me that Canberra is the base for a lot of rural people as well as the people who live there so why wouldn't they have one? @Tank - She wasn't too bad, but she made it known consistently that she thought I needed Cardio more than weights. So I stopped going to my group PT, because 1) I hate Cardio and 2) I hate Cardio... She did say to me she didn't have enough experience in weights and lifting heavy (she's a runner) so I should have expected as much. @Mediaguy - Welcome and thanks for stopping by! Yay for archery!! I'm really enjoying it as my little hobby
  15. Thank you so much for the tips!! I've been trying to work on my anchor and I also shoot with the bow canted as it seems to keep the arrow on the shelf easier. I'll move closer to the target and just keep practicing!
  16. Nice! I live about 20km out of Harden between there and Cootamundra! I don't get to Canberra as much as I'd like. But that might change when IKEA opens lol
  17. Oh nice great to know !! So as a newbie archer where do you recommend I start? Length from target or other tips you can think of. Right now I'm hit and miss literally lol some days I can hit my cardboard box (I did say primitive!) other days I can't hit crap!!
  18. 1 round of NFBBWC... absolutely stuffed... Going for 2 on Friday. At least I managed to stop my arms from hurting and I can now do 10 push ups without trying too hard. 15 sec plank was pretty good too. I normally can't plank. BTW I put the circuit into a circuit timer app (this one is called Seconds). It's great, makes it much easier so I don't have to remember or refer to a list of exercises as I can put the exercise and how many I want to do into the app and it calls it out to me. At least it doesn't tell me that I need cardio and stop being a whimp like my old trainer did....
  19. Way to get back into it. You've just inspired me to get off my ass and go do the NFBody Weight Circuit. I put it off today.....
  20. 500 arrows a week! Wow, with my primitive set up and only 5 usable arrows that would mean a LOT of walking lol!!! I love your goals! You seem like you've got things in hand. Good luck
  21. Today I... Continued setting up my Batcave, wish the kids didn't lose the blu-tack! I also put the NF Beginner Body Weight Circuit routine into my workout timer app, called Seconds, if anyone is interested. What I need to work on.... Drinking water. Middle of winter, it's raining and the last thing I feel like is drinking water.
  22. Awesome! I'm still only very new at archery but it's something I've been interested in for a while. This year, at 32 I decided to try it and now I wonder why I never tried it sooner! Good luck with your challenge, I'll be sure to check it out
