  2. Hey everyone I'm new to the Nerd Fitness academy. New enough that I'm still on the "Track your eating" level. Over the past week or so I have come to realize that the majority of the time I actually eat pretty healthily. The problem seems to be that I am what I guess you would call an "emotional eater". As soon as I get stressed or upset, the healthy eating goes out the window and I head for the wine and pizza. Does anyone else struggle with this? Any advice on how to deal with this? Thanking you in advance :-)
  3. Hey everyone I have been on the NerdFitness mailing list for a couple of years now, and have always thought the blogs were great. I was doing okay... Eating pretty healthily and exercising, and then I injured my knee whilst running about two months ago. That was the start of the downward spiral. I was miserable that I was injured, and miserable that I couldn't exercise. And then I was miserable that I was miserable which lead me to start eating crap and drinking too much.... and then I was miserable that I was eating crap and drinking too much. Anyway, so now I have put on weight and lost the little bit of fitness I had So today I decided to start again; and this time to join the NF community I have my eating plan drawn up and am going to spend this afternoon pre-preparing meals for the week I'm also planning on getting back into the habit of going to gym - I was back there this morning already "Ever tried.
