Eat with all the senses: NF Bodyweight Lvl 1 (Christmas has changed my schedule up) Side quests: Tracking food (bonus): I had the lovely tires on Monday, I'm ready for off roading...lol (I have a sedan btw so its funny) But got that done, and realize how much I was skidding EVERYWHERE even on good weather days or damp days. I will be keeping up this investment in the future! Didn't realize how much anxiety I had when I saw anything fall from the sky. Insurance goals didn't follow through, and I could have done it so throwing in the sock for this week (basically everything sounds shut down until New Years but will try calling next week). Saturday's date day went great, we both passed out and I was caught up on sleep. Long work week... I have added 3 extra full shifts. With the unknown for next week. I'm getting side eye from everyone who cares about me, and I'm just "cheers". Asked boyfriend to drive to our small Christmas on Saturday which I'm looking forward to. I have bought everything I am going to bring and my mother has it stockpiled somewhere. Also have leveled up pushups from wall pushups to incline pushups... You can call me Wonder Woman now. --- Tomorrow I will be having my first online appointment with my mentor since he had Covid a month ago. He is keeping everything online and restricted due to energy. But I realized my goal for 2022 is finding "connection". I have my family, I have my boyfriend, but feeling the extra satisfaction with myself or friendships would be a good circle with my all over health. This yule brought some new energy when I was fatigued. I miss high school girl friends, someone I could contact whenever about anything. We will see.

In some ways I feel like I'm mentally failing... Saturday went well, lack of sleep week ended up with me sleeping for 15 hours... Boyfriend enjoys time with me even when passed out... We are finally at the same time dealing with.

Eat with all the senses: NF Bodyweight Lvl 1 (need to change this to a more run as I go thing) Side quests: Decided to add meditation So work chaos is starting... not enough people and some people we do need to let loose that I've voted I would be willing to pick up more hours if they were let go.... So yeah... Things I'm running issues in.. having foods that are easy grab to go. Meal prep needing to take less time and easy to clean. So going to add meal prep and tracking for bonus to see if I can come up with a healthy eating plan that is easy to follow and helps keep my immune system up. First workout outside of shoveling is tonight, will see how it goes I love my gym but lots of overtime before Christmas so need to figure it out with the NF Article bringing up like "quick phone games".

Still haven't figured out insurance yet, but my current one transferred over... so I'm good if I get sick. But should work on it. Tires... we had a large snow storm last Friday and a tornado watch last night... After getting stuck in the snow storm just outside my house's alley way. My step-dad found my tires to buy, asked if I had the money. The price is a bit steeper but he basically told me we would both feel better with me having to drive in all weather. Monday new tires will be put on! Christmas is coming... finally found gifts for a dice game we're doing with us "kids". I decided after a lot of mulling at different places and realizing I was running out of time. I went to my now "local" science museum gift shop online and found some fun things that I'm happy to gift (shot beaker glasses and a star projector light with space ice cream and dinosaur farts cotton candy...) I've been thinking about the Science Museum for weeks... so boyfriend and I are going on Saturday. There's a dinosaur omnitheatre movie and exhibit about them that for some reason make my inner child giddy. Boyfriend said he probably was going to enjoy the interactive stuff.
  5. It's only been 10 days... I had slowly drifted away let's see what I can remember. (1/7) Eat with all the senses: (1/7) NF Bodyweight Lvl 1 (a snow day is an exception for working out) 2/2 Bonus: 5+ hours shoveling snow Total : 17/37 -- 45% Oofda... a great week week 0 and then fell on my face with this tracker. I blame a new game I got into that is into roleplaying game.. Huge happy feeling boost that for a solid week every time I was a on a browser I pulled into it... Now that the game is becoming familiar finally able to release myself and work on my goals. I finished one bottle of supplements, onto the next one for gut health. I'm not changing up my eating really.. but have noticed I can run on less caffeine especially if I stick to tea.

Now have habits that don't take over my day. Eating habits opportunities are just remembering them before eating... Exercise is the easiest (exercise pushing all the right muscles but not making me feel sick) Qigong I realized was difficult due to having to time manage with the online group I signed up for does at Noon live. Noon is usually the time I get going or decide to rest more before work... So trying out FB video that is recorded at 8am but can be played at any time. I vote for after I get up and go to the bathroom, or when I remember for this habit. With the goal of just showing up, and not expecting anything but trying it. (I get benefits from just half trying most of the time).
  8. *stares at bottle of unopened mouthwash* So this stuff is recommended! Thanks, will add that and makes sense on how I use it for canker sore healing/prevention after going to the dentist or brushing to hard... Really am looking forward to finding a nee dentist....

  10. Yes... honestly I know I went through my hard times to be able to fight later on... Telling myself to hold on tight for future job adventures due to this insurance Aww I feel you, I know I'm very lucky with weight loss and even bloating... Just too many cookies yesterday had my pants hurting me, but now I've lost a couple inches from just eating less food... I'm still at a steady 290 but also my body is changing fairly quickly with the new workout routine... Aka Muscle does weigh more than fat! Just remember you bringing it up. Another idea is figuring out the cupboards you never think of. I have 2-3 I found in my kitchen that I'm really looking for sweets if I can't in it.. --- Came home last night to find out a leak has been discovered in the kitchen sink and has gone down to the basement... Sounds more like damage issue over actual flooding. Ran into the issue of today not being able to not wanting to use the kitchen... I realized even making tuna sandwiches would be a problem. So c-store sandwiches for at the moment. Stepdad is working on it quickly, so by this weekend I should be cooking again. I am done with my room's mess and the idea of just hanging out with his mess sounds exhausting... If I stay home, more time for video games or writing roleplaying that I've been craving to get back into.
  11. Fun fact I actually floss my teeth and brush my teeth twice a day regularly. When I fall off it's usually income based or depression (so was a challenge years ago). And when I can't get to the sink at night I have recently done a dry brush... For me its partly sugar, but the other part is the American Medical Insurance seeing any dental for adults as a luxury. The only dental place that I am using now that could give me service was 45 miles drive... I am someone now that needs regular cleaning I realize, and an extra boost of fluoride. Idk what my mouth is showing, but like lately I have been "I'm doing what I'm told even with 3 minute brushing when I can do it". While I have friends who do a quick brush but have a regular dentist they can make to and not have cavities. More research I have done I finally wrapped my head around that yup I need that extra care, and my last root canal made me cry more than once... Interesting I was wondering if I should use an electric, that I might discuss in future appointments. But I have a feeling I'm too aggressive... (my inner warrior ready to fight the plague unintentionally). But I did find a new brush over the summer I love that's soft and actually as a texture that makes me go "that's nice...". With the new tooth paste I was given by the dentist I'm getting an immediate award (almost wondering if it helps with swelling). Thank you for joining me on this adventure! Honestly am trying to figure out a reward for getting through all this, since this is true adulting here... Has taken me years to get mentally ready and now financially ready to take care of everything. Honestly thinking that I will be at 2023 when this is all over... upside I have time to throw money at my budget for upfront costs. Fun fact I received a new uniform (that I like more) but the pants are only tight on my belly... Due to them being men's workwear I'm like "how I'm watching my cookies is through pant tightness.." I foresee you getting a deep freezer just freeze them for a later date... I know that was what a lot of people did for girl scout season growing up. Or find that location in your house you don't look at... or have a loved one hide them. Today I found out my mom has been hiding all her treats in a chocolate box she got from her wedding. I thought we were saving them for the holidays. Nope they've been eaten and used as storage. This morning she made a mistake by leaving them out on the counter open (she thought I grabbed it from the display space and opened). In our house anything sweet on the counter is open game.... so I was confused when she angry. I'm surviving by enjoying the baking season, I realized I missed it after years of being the only baker in my home... And keeping the meat and veggie meals especially for work... Though I have the perk/annoyance of cooking my own meals right now.

Also to note also I'm in the first time doing workouts that fatigue my muscles before making me sick (a thing I have a long history of doing). The bodyweight workout seems so simple that I can get through the whole 3 sets but have fatigued my muscles to their max, which has me happy. Not too many DOMS the next day, but enough burn to know I'm strengthening (my biceps are already forming out). Eating mindfully and Qigong I feel like are the two things I'm ready to have a tantrum on over working out (I look forward to getting my duffel bag ready and heading to the fitness center at work after my shift). But maybe by the end of the challenge I will like the benefits and see both Qigong and sitting down with food with no distractions as a blessing.... --- The Spirit of Christmas has heard my wish with cookies for Christmas (now I need to stop eating them all). We have 2 bakers now at work (we have a coworker that I can't help but question how she does it and now an outside source that found out we will love any baked goods for our office...) For the first time I had Macros and wow... She doesn't like them but their everything I enjoy with my youtube wonder. Need to watch that Baker challenge show that @Shello brought up in her challenge for ideas with my baking ideas with my Bonus sister.
  13. That makes more sense... lol I always forget about Mr. Grinch despite my is being my bf enjoys the animation. Yes!! I just couldn't find them in my late nights Seriously! I think its goes along the line that plaque is bacteria eating sugar, she explained to me its our bodies defense system fighting off this bacteria in our gums that can make our gums iffy. Idk might be looking at animations that I know go over teeth health and seeing if there's a reference while I'm doing chores this weekend. I personally always had bleeding gums, and part of it could be "hard rough brushing" that I was told to switch to soft bristles and only use two fingers when brushing my teeth... I think I always thought aggressive was always better, and think my dad passively taught me. (Also note I have bad genetics, that I remembered a therapist going asking me 7 years ago "do you really worry since your genetics probably aren't that bad.... " I knew I didn't have help on my side... let's say I remember more than one conversation with dentures with my grandparents and now my mother has dentures due to a mix of stomach health not helping her teeth). You will get long rants on dental health due to no one else in my life wants to talk about it, "just do the work type feel". Glad to have you!

I might due Santa Claus on the last week just due to it being the only real time of year to use that emoji.... Couldn't find a devil emoji else I would have used that for Krumpus/Krampus?? (Idk Bolivian folklore that I learned has local festivals here...) Thanks, I asked for more info with my gums since I wanted to know what was going on. Since I was never taught "oh bad teeth also means its going to hurt your gums". Found that out yesterday...

Idk if you see it but I'm keeping it for this week. Felt like a failure for skipping something but realized I did get things done despite my dentist appointment taking much longer. (45 min drive there and back, ended up waiting more than 30 mins). They did X-Rays and a gum check... Since I didn't get all my cavities taken care of years ago I have more. And because I'm not getting regular cleanings and have cavities I have clear sign of infected gums. My wisdom teeth are actually causing some problems for one of my back gums, that had me wincing badly. Game plan that I will copy paste on battle log: I need to get all my cavities filled (I have 20 something that haven't taken care of) I need intermediate cleaning (full hour in-depth cleaning) , and a checkup to see how my gums heal after (I have time to work against the gum infection symptoms) I need my wisdom teeth removed (just two of them but there's no room and they are causing issues with my gums and probably other teeth) Earliest appointment I can make is April... So I made the appointment and... will be working on seeing if all my insurance stuff is processed. By the sounds of the dentist my Dental Insurance will be covering more and I hope a larger network... So I can find a place not so back logged. Willing to drive up to an hour for any place to get ALL this done! Soon as I get on top of everything I will have less worries and have game plan for regular appointments. Aka saying this goal is done until insurance is done (because insurance is sadly outside of my control but should get better since I hit my job's final transition and I have worked more than 60 days to qualify).

(I actually wouldn't mind some good socks for Christmas) Today was a Monday that started with oatmeal... which I happily ate with milk and maple syrup (and was surprised it filled me up). Main goal before work was helping my mom out with an errand, and making protein. Fried up turkey patties that weren't bad on their own with veggies (just wish that would fill me up...) Tomorrow is my long awaited Dental Cleaning... I will be adding the habit onto this challenge if they tell me I should do something... A few years ago they were trying to help me out, but I should have had them explain what they were seeing. After nearly punching someone and crying over my root canal I'm asking for details... I just foresee more bad news, but I have some savings and a job I could even do when I can't think straight. Basically hope to have my quest list on my teeth... there was an old cartoon about the great walls to be protected... Will see if I can find the old VHS.

  20. Found this Gif and realized its PERFECT! So last challenge I vowed myself I no longer want to Yoyo diet again after watching myself lose 25 lbs and gain back 15... To be stronger and fitter is so I can be ready to jump on any adventure in my liking and not have to worry about my personal health (because I'm not that crazy of a daredevil). Last challenge I also wrapped my head around not spreading myself to thin by making too many goals. As one topples over pretty quickly... So make things sturdy, like a nice blanket for a baby Christmas Tree. Main Goals! Qigong 5 mins Daily - baby steps to be a daily practice Daily Supplements - I have a regime that has taken me over 6 months to start, and finally almost halfway through it NF Prime Nutrition LVL 1 - I will be sticking to level 1 for now through out this whole challenge to make these strong habits through the holiday season Eat with Putting Food or Utensil down between bites 1 x a day Journal about why I want to eat something 1x a day (hunger, emotion, something else?) NF Bodyweight Lvl 1 - 3x a week (MWF), may come up with a different workout if Gym gets closed due to holiday season... Side Quest: This is where I put life goals I need extra push, extra rewards when completed. Goal is to complete by end of challenge Get tires checked, replace if needed. Show up to all dentist appointments, stay in line with goals of getting all my teeth fixed and a hygiene regime - Week 0 is a cleaning/check up. Check in with insurance at least weekly in December until I have the papers of my new insurance coverage (work has been weird with this, this week I can start complaining to mangers and UP about not having access) Bonus Points: I will be doing percentage for tracking goals, but will allow 2 bonuses this challenge. Every Hour I walk Outside (I have a history of SAD and live in Minnesota, sun and trees can help with this - I can add them up but needs to be intentional outdoor time) Every Hour working on Applications - Basically I don't mind my job, but I'm scared if I don't start working on at least getting things setup for job hunting I will be stuck at it instead of a position that could pay me a bit more... Any job searching assistance or advice is always helpful (my weakest points are cover letters and resumes.. which are required for Bachelor's Degree level jobs I feel like). New Shiny Challenge ready to be attempted! *Reward - If I get 50% of my tracked goals I will get $100 of free money (preciscous as I'm saving in the background) if I somehow hit over 90% for the whole challenge I will get a bonus $100. If I don't get the 50% I have to put the 100 toward student loans. If Side Quest completed I get $30 by the end of the challenge.
  21. I may or may not have been patiently waiting in my cozy pajamas for the new challenge... even if its after 1:30 pm.... Happy to join in the dreams of future goals... first Holiday Challenge I have my goals setup for the next year!
  22. Yup just a little on your plate, may that Portfolio be accepted as awesomeness! Also Pathfinders workout ended up making me realize how damn weak my hips are that it had me wanting to work on just a regular strength training routine. Thank you for sharing your Darebee challenge as it helped me wrap around my head that I'm not ready for the Apocalypse. Also hope good sleep is around for you!
  23. Also note: The hot pot did leave my boyfriend to end up dancing without music. Aka the best thing I have ever served him. Also his stove has a glass topper over an electric stove, basically ended up being like a large placed hot plate.
