Yeah he does alot of strength tr for a distance runner. If you look at strength running and the run experience they both advocate strength training. -

Have you seen the success story reposted on Facebook this afternoon? Guy combined running and strength training. -

Just alternate days. If you read the success stories that's what alot of people do. If your training for a race or competition then you will have to scale back one to emphasise the other. Just don't over complicate or over think it.
