  1. My only suggestion- baby steps!!! There is a great bodyweight exercise on the website. Definitely start there either in the mornings or before bed. Hang in there!!
  2. Hi there! Knowing is half the battle, so welcome! My only suggestion- baby steps!!! I'm back after a few month hiatus. I kept over committing and dropping off the internet after feeling frustrated. This time I'm back with tiny, realistic goals after failing twice since August! Took me long enough to figure it out, huh? Hang in there!!
  3. Welcome back and congrats on focusing on YOU! I'm back after a few month hiatus too. I kept over committing and dropping off the internet after feeling frustrated. This time I'm back with tiny, realistic goals after failing twice since August! Took me long enough to figure it out, huh? Hang in there!!
  4. Hi elephagirl!!!!!! You clearly speak my musical theatre language Welcome to the group! My one recommendation with NERD is baby steps. I kept over committing and dropping off the internet after feeling frustrated. This time I'm back with tiny, realistic goals! Took long enough, huh? Hang in there!! Keep dancing through life!
  5. Welcome! I'm still relatively new (in and out since August) but figured I better commit now rather than January 1 like everyone else my one recommendation is baby steps. I kept over committing and dropping off the internet after feeling frustrated. This time I'm back with tiny, realistic goals! Took long enough, huh? Hang in there!!
  6. Hi there! I've been in and out since August, but am back and committed to me more than ever! I'm still confused by some of the ins and outs of the site, but overall it's amazingly supportive. My one suggestion is to take baby steps. I kept over committing and would become frustrated and drop off the internet for awhile. Small things and stick with them
  7. I haven't logged in since the end of September. I made my mini challenge based on others ideas, and then became overwhelmed by what I chose. On top of that was some marriage related drama, but now I am back and committed more than before! Very glad to be a member of this community
  8. Sleeping in silence is a great goal! I've fallen victim to the ease of Netflix on a tablet at night and should break it too.
  9. How's the zombie run training going? I love watching TWD and teaching my students zombie make up techniques, but I know I'd scare the crap out of myself on a run
  10. Love your simple and sinister challenge! I need to try kettle bells. Hope those 5 inches melt off!
  11. Well, all I can say is I fail, yet again. At least I'm not down and out! Same mini challenge as I am blind to hit it sooner or later confession: I ate ice cream 3 days in a row and gained a significant amount of weight- what a reality check! Happy Sunday night!
  12. This week was a ridiculous failure. A stomach virus coupled with allergies made for failure on every level. With that being said- tomorrow is a new day! Respawn! Good news: even with the failure, I have 1.4 pounds to go to hit a mini goal woot woot! I WILL HIT THIS MINI GOAL THIS WEEK!
  13. Why is it that work can so easily get in the way of one's personal quest?! Based on yesterday, I fail my challenge already. So, I'm rebooting today! I cancelled my WW account, and I found an app that helps calculate how many carbs you eat per day, so my goal will be to stay under 100 (should be easy, right?!) I'll check back in tomorrow
  14. Cross fit and pull-ups? You are a badass! Keep it going!!!
