  1. As I have no weekly goals, this challenge starts right bloody now! Get after it.
  2. This time I'll be mixing up my challenge format and doing a points challenge! I feel this will be more beneficial to me these days than my usual "do these 4-5 things" challenges. I eventually want my challenges to be a little more freeform and game like now that fitness is pretty much a major part of my life. Some things will earn me points, others will lose them (duh). The goal this month is 100 points. I have no idea if this is a good total, so it may change after week 1 when I have a better understanding. + Points Do a strength training workout. +1 point. Do a cardio/conditioning workout. +1 point. Brush the dog's teeth. +1 point. Complete an adulting task. +1 point. Bonus Adulting Tasks. - These will be worth 1 point for adulting in addition to their individual point values. Transfer money into my (currently unused) high interest savings account. +1 point. Set up a direct debit or payment line to that account from my main account. +2 points. Find (and move to) a new mobile data plan. +2 points. Fill in the small hole in bedroom wall. +2 points. Adjust my Nest Pension payment plan. +1 point. +2 points if doing so involves making a phone call. Fit new rear windscreen wiper blade on my car, +1 point. Eat a healthy meal. +1 point. Be out of bed before 7:30 AM. +2 points. This will be tough, if it happens once I'll be happy. Job search, at least 20 minutes. +2 points. Finish reading a book. +2 points. Complete one of my major fitness goals. +5 points. - Points Going a day without doing any mobility. -1 point. Staying in bed past 9AM. -1 point. Go a whole week without brushing the dog's teeth. -3 points. Major Fitness Goals. Be able to do 2 consecutive ring dips. Be able to do 3 consecutive ring dips. 4x5 chinups. Unassisted shrimp squat. Sub 10 minute mile. Be able to do a cartwheel. Pointless Star Wars gif just for fun. Motivation or something..

I feel I did well this challenge, but I may mix up the format next time just to keep things interesting. Maybe I'll rip off @Suzaqu and do a points challenge?

  7. Oops, fell a bit behind on the updates there. Week 4 - Thursday-Saturday Rings workout 3 times a week: 3/3 Actually planning to do another tomorrow as next week will be busy with work from Wednesday onwards. Daily 5 minute flow: 5/7 Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 2/3 Realised that walking around a castle for 7 hours totally counts as physical activity, duh. Also did foam rolling and attempted a follow along yoga video today. May or may not get anything in tomorrow.. Positivity: So, Star Wars Celebration is happening in Orlando right now. I wish I could be there, the London one last year was amazing. Anyway, all these are Star Wars related because I'm a big nerd. Thurs - Beautiful tribute video to Carrie Fisher was shared, kinda sad but also really uplifting in a strange way. Fri - Episode 8 teaser!! *nerdgasm*. Sat - Watching the Star Wars Rebels season 4(final season) trailer. Excited for the conclusion of the story, not sure I'm ready for the inevitable feels..

I still got in mobility work, so I lose points but my body still wins Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 0/3 Need to get going here Positivity: My knee feels great! I've been doing extra stability work for my knees as well and I doubt I'll ever stop now that I've seen the results start to take effect.
  11. Week 4 - Tuesday Rings workout 3 times a week: 1/3 Daily 5 minute flow: 2/7 Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 0/3 Positivity: Today I took my 12 year old cousin to Warwickshire Castle for "research" on his school project. We had a great time and I bought myself a sweet wooden sword!

  14. Week 3 - Saturday Rings workout 3 times a week: 3/3 Daily 5 minute flow: 6/7 Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 3/3 Positivity: The weather was so nice! After I finished my workout I ended taking my shoes and socks off and spending another 15 minutes or so practicing cartwheels and parkour rolls, then took a leisurely stroll home enjoying the woods in the sun. Week 3 - Sunday Rings workout 3 times a week: 3/3 Daily 5 minute flow: 7/7 Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 3/3 Positivity: Another nice day for weather, unfortunately I was stuck at work. But when I got home we had ice cream, so that makes it all better

Not necessarily on purpose Positivity: Story time - So, yesterday was my granddad's birthday. My GF and I walked down to my workout spot and planned to walk to his house after. It's about a 45 minute walk through the woods/fields. However. It's been about 10 years since I last walked that way and I may have taken us on a wrong turn and ended up at a quarry almost 2 hours later. Long story short; we never got to Grandad's, my parents picked us upon their way home, our feet hurt, and we had chinese for dinner. Still had a good time though Week 3 - Friday Rings workout 3 times a week: 2/3 Daily 5 minute flow: 5/7 Other physical activity, 3 times a week: 3/3 Positivity: My dog had to go to the vets and get a broken tooth removed today, which obviously requires anesthesia. He's spent most of the evening tripping balls and not understanding how his feet work, it's been hilarious
