  1. Figured I should introduce myself. Recently, I've lost 50lbs - however, I keep fluctuating between 10 or so pounds that I cannot seem to keep off. I'm hoping to find support and motivation here to help me keep that 10lbs off, and take off another 20-30lbs. I work in IT, and I'm a huge gamer - meaning I have quite the sedentary lifestyle. I'm looking to change that, as I'm tired of being well...tired. I plan to go back to college in the spring, so I will need all the energy I can find. So here goes nothing.

  3. Hey all, I stumbled upon this site recently. I decided to join the forums for some motivation. Here's my story: Growing up I was always in shape. I ran cross country, I play baseball and was always riding my bike. 4 Years ago I took a job as a Help Desk Technician and broke into the IT field. Well, that's where my problems started. I've always been a gamer, however with my new sedentary lifestyle I packed on a whopping 100lbs in 4 years. I have lost 15lbs already, in the past 6 months. (Really not a big loss in that amount of time.) With the 100lbs came hypertension. I have a stressful job, working in IT tends to be pretty stressful. My body aches, I get migraines almost everyday (weight/blood pressure) and I'm just sick of it. I hate being tired all the time, and I hate feeling awful. So I guess I begin my quest here, and now.
