  2. Week 2 Day 6 I haven't been doing too great this week... I only swam once, and did conditioning once... AND I've been eating way too much. But on the bright side: I passed my second CPCU exam, which makes me look really good at work! Also, we're slowly chugging towards our overall goal of $85,000 for Relay for Life: today we had a fundraiser that raised over $3,000!!!   7. Week 1 Day 6 So I can't really give my final score for the week, cus today isn't over... but it's looking like it's gonna be an overall score of 3.53. (Cardio-5, Conditioning - 3, Calories - 3, Comrades - 2.33) So that makes me proficient this week! Yay! Lots of room for improvement though... (I didn't go to that meeting this morning for one... By the time I woke up, it had been over for a few hours, hahaha) Most importantly, of course, my measurements are down! I lost 1 pound, and my inches decreased everywhere. Woo.   8. Week 1 Day 5 First of all, I just want you all to know that I love Midna. So much. (Which you probably picked up from me picking her to represent Eat like a Princess instead of Zelda.) She's awesome. ~<3 Plus she's not obnoxious, which is a HUGE win for a companion character, hahaha. ANYWAYS. My thighs are more or less healed, so I no longer waddle and shall return to the pool tomorrow. Woo. And I did better about eating yesterday and today, so my average has dropped for calories. Yay. Feelin' more princess-y already. Side note, if you follow my health/fitness Instagram (@LJaybirdFly), you'll know that I got the GREATEST thing in the mail today!!! The World of Warcraft Cookbook!!!!! IM SO EXCITED TO MAKE DELICIOUS, NERDY THINGS. Plus, I've thumbed through all the recipes, and not gonna lie - they look freaking legit. I'm hungry just thinking about it. I won't be making anything this week (well, maybe I'll make one of the drinks), since I've already got a full fridge, but next week? Yo. I'm so excited. ^-^ Also, I've decided that low-effort cardio, like walking, only counts for half the time spent on it. That still puts me easily at a 5 for cardio this week, but hey - that was a LOT of walking. Finally, for anybody interested in my Valentine's mystery: it's been solved. I do not have a secret admirer. It was from the same guy that took me out a couple times a few months ago. After I figured it out, he asked me out again, and I figured well.... he did surprise me with chocolate on Valentine's Day. Nobody's ever done that for me before. So I agreed. I might regret that decision, or it might be nice this time, we'll see. (There was nothing dramatic about why we stopped going out. I just didn't think we really clicked at all...) Yeah, I've been using cortisone cream & it's improving. It's still really sensitive though... work tomorrow is gonna be tough.   10. It's when you're fat & your thighs rub together when you walk, causing chafing. Your skin can get rubbed totally raw, & sometimes it'll swell, bruise, or even break & bleed. It's painful. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  11. Week 1 Day 3 xD xD that gif gives me life..... xD Ahem. Anyways. Valentine's Day took two unexpected turns! They may or may not balance each other out. Turn #1 - I GOT AN ANONYMOUS CANDY GRAM AT WORK. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. And I'm losing my mind trying to figure out who sent it. So I ~might~ have a secret admirer! I have mirrors, though, so I kinda doubt that. It's likely a friend being sweet and slightly mischevious. Maybe my mentor? I'll have to ask her... but until I find out, I'm slowly losing my mind!!! Turn #2 - Chub rub. Really bad. Oh my god. I can barely walk. What happened: I was doing singing valentines at work. So I and a small group of coworkers were walking around the office all day singing to people. Let me clarify 'the office' a little bit, cus I feel like people get the mental image of something the size of like The Office on tv or something. No no. This a four-floor building with a few thousand people inside. It took us all day to deliver all of the valentines. We got there at 8, and I was able to get back to my desk to catch up on some work by 5:30. I'd say we actually started delivering the Valentines closer to 9, and were done around 5. We took a couple breaks and took about an hour for lunch. I'd say that of that 8 hour time period, we were actively delivering the valentines for 5-6 hours. And I was wearing a tight dress, so that was a lot of chub rub friction happening there. I was in actual pain before it was even over. Even now, over 24 hours later, I still can't walk very well. I waddle, really, haha. Needless to say, I was not able to go swimming yesterday, and I'm doubtful that I'll be able to go tomorrow. But I'd say that a good 2/3 of the time yesterday was actual walking as opposed to singing, (the people in charge did NOT do a good job organizing the deliveries... We went to each floor multiple times and frequently went all the way back and forth across the floors... Super irritating.) so I feel like I still got some cardio in. Maybe not strenuous cardio, but still. I've been eating too much though... Not very princess-like.
