  1. Genshin is such a time sink. I lost months and months to that game. LOL. Qiqi is queen. I had to make myself stop cold turkey. Also, nice to see someone else with the real struggle (POSTING and FINISHING).
  2. IT band is the suck. Stretching really does help (and keep doing it after it feels better to keep it away). I'm 1000% in love with rainbows for success. 🌈
  3. My 40s were my absolute FAVE! Best decade for me. I hope it is for you as well! I'm interested in your stretching. It's something I definitely should incorporate into my routine. I could probably spare 1 full minute daily! Forgive me as I've not been around much, but did you have Covid or are you referring to the general Covid pandemic experience. Either way, glad to hear you are on the mend.
  4. We have a ChiliPad. My husband loves it. Me not so much. Are you having troubles with temperatures at night?
  5. Hello there. and Mocktails. Yes please! I've recently stopped drinking alcohol. I'd love to hear more!!
  6. as refreshing as a new challenge after a long break
  7. Welp, it's been so long I can't remember how to post a gif. Is this even a challenge intro without gifs? I'm pretty sure that isn't how it used to work, but I can roll with the young folks. IS IT ACTUALLY POSSIBLE FOR ME TO FINISH A CHALLENGE?!??! Yes, yes it is... It's been a few solid years since I've had a real challenge here, but the time is now. I have been staying relatively active despite my disappearance here and have participated in some other virtual fitness challenges, but honestly, nothing has compared to the comradery of the Rebellion. I've found other things that push me more to perform, but nothing that provides the social encouragement and understanding that I always found here. So, we're calling it a comeback! I'm a 52 year old married mom of 2 adults (that is so crazy to say!). My daughter just graduated from college this spring and my son is starting his 3rd year in college this fall. My husband and I bought and converted a standard cargo van to a simple camper during the pandemic and are looking forward to doing more adventuring as the world reopens. Camping is crazy right now though y'all. Like... EVERYONE is doing it. I feel so basic. 2020 was a shitshow here, but that's not news is it. Let's get on to the good stuff. GOALS: CARDIO: 3 x 20+ minute rides per week. During the crazy year that was 2020, I got a Peloton and I love it. I've been participating in some training challenges that were very fun, but the longer rides included (60, 75, even 90 minutes) have been giving me some problems physically with saddle time. I really want to stay accountable and on track here, but with shorter harder rides. WEIGHTS: programmed workouts, min 4x per week I have a programmed workout available to me. It usually includes a core workout and then some legs, arms, or full body days, even barre and pilates and yoga, about 60 mins. The best part is someone else does the programming and there is good variety. I'm very good at setting up programs, but then lose steam before actually doing them, so this is perfect! I'd love to get back to doing this every day, but the goal for now is 4x per week. MINDSET: reading at least 30 mins daily I've really fallen off the wagon with reading, and I love it! Time to get back to it. 2020 really threw off my routines and it's time to reclaim them. There are some other things I'd like to add, but I'm trying to keep it simple for success. I'm setting a reminder on my phone to check in here on the daily. I've had trouble the last few times I tried a challenge just because I was out of the habit of checking here. Off to check out some other challenges. It wouldn't be a Marauder challenge without an 80s music video though so... MOMMA GONNA KNOCK YOU OUT!
  8. Hey there, was just popping into NF to see how folks were doing. Looks like you’re having a less than fun time. Hope you’re feeling spry soon. Also a general thank you for being a teacher. It doesn’t get said enough but you do the hard work. ❤️
  9. Whoa boy this week was a doozy. I honestly didn’t keep track of my things but my watch seems to think I did mostly alright. Steps seem about right for walking and I mostly seemed active every day. Eating seemed better this week especially since I’ve had to cook more for the family. clearly didn’t do as well on the ghosting front. XD im out of the habit of checking here and apparently those email notifications I set up aren’t working very well. LOL. @Terra she’s an adult but so not an adult at the same time. Haha. Wish they were both littles again. Adult children seem harder.
  10. Wow, that was a super exhausting weekend. Let me see how I did challenge wise... Activity. Done done done. Still havent busted out the mat and done any pilates and stretching though, so I'd like to get into that this week. Walking. Done all 3 days. Eating. Did really much better with this. Even ate out and managed to leave stuff on my plate when I was full. I will never understand why that is so hard for me, but it is. This will be much easier this week as husband who usually cooks is out of the country, so i'm in charge of my own foods 100%. No ghosting, although I probably should have posted yesterday, but the day got away from me. Playing a new game (wolcen) and it took all my attention yesterday afternoon and it was glorious! My 20 year old daughter got her license last week and I am having small mini heart attacks every time she leaves the house and/or I need to ride with her. She still needs much more experience and it is so damned exhausting. No idea how people do this, but grateful my kids both seem uninterested in driving as a whole until very recently. It's SO stressful!
  11. Today I Beat Saber'd, walked, and ate like a human. Might be slow to post next few days as house is likely to be a bit chaotic with travel preparations. hope everyone is doing well and hopefully will have time to follow and read some of y’all’s challenges this weekend!
  12. Yesterday: Activity daily. Yep. Walk daily. Yep Eat like a reasonable healthy human. Yep No ghosting. so far so good. Today: have activitied and walked. eating tbd
  13. oh very exciting!!!!! We're all doing good here. My babies are both in college now which is crazy af. I/we've done a lot of travelling this last couple years. I cant remember when I was last on here, but in the last two years, I've gone to Japan, my oldest did a study abroad in London for a couple of months, the hubs and I went to London and Paris. I'm just happy to be home for a bit. LOL, although the mister is heading to Switzerland and Austria later this week. It's sort of crazy. Before then none of us had been out of the country except for a quick jaunt to Canada or Mexico.
  14. Hey there mister wolllllfffffff. How you doin?
  15. YES!!! Yes it is!!!! I’m so addicted it’s ridiculous!
  16. Air quality has been super great this year. Only a few days all winter of vault time. It's been wonderful! How's that lovely wife and adorable baby?
  17. I suppose im behind already eh? Yesterday: I did most of those things without realizing. I did take the "kids" out for dinner last night because husband was NPO for a procedure today and it seems cruel to make nom-noms in the house in that situation. I ate about half of the standard dinner portion, so seems mostly like a healthy human food thing. Yesterday I did walk and I did Beat Saber, so I did good before I even knew I needed to do good. Today: Today, might be a different story. Woke up at 3 am for no reason at all, drove husband around to procedure, then to lunch, and then to work as he's not allowed to drive but apparently had some meeting important enough to attend on a day like today. I did go for a walk, but I think I need a nap more than exercise right now. So tired. Update tomorrow.
  18. Let's see if this mic is on.... *cough cough* I think I remember how this goes... *insert boring story about where i've been for 2 years here* GOALS! (yes goals, that's right) Activity daily (5/7). Doesnt matter what, but be honest with yourself. Making an espresso is not activity. Beat Saber, pilates, yoga, RingFit, squats, bodyweight stuff, GMB stuff. You know the drill. That counts. Walk daily (5/7) Eat like a reasonable healthy human. No ghosting. That sounds simple enough for success but productive enough to be a good start.

    RES: FEeD me

Just stopped in to love on your mud run photos. Keep kicking ass!
  20. Might be time to dust off this profile and do some work. New challenge just started? I think the Where are you? Message in my inbox from @Sloth the Enduring says it all... dated 2 years ago.
  21. January 7th: Goal 1: Nope, but workout days will likely be T/Th/weekend day. Goal 2: Nope. Goal 3: I'd give it a B. OK, technically, I didn't know I was on a challenge yesterday... *smirks*
